TOBY Alderweireld has told fellow countryman Christian Benteke that he will no longer be able to support him in the FA Cup final.
The Belgium striker is set to lead the line for Aston Villa in Saturday's showdown with Arsenal, at Wembley Stadium.
International teammate Alderweireld would normally be giving Benteke his backing, but he will instead be cheering on the Gunners this year.
That is because a victory for Arsene Wenger's side would send Saints into the Europa League, while a Villa win would mean that the club missed out on the competition.
“Of course I’m watching," said Alderweireld of Saturday's game.
"Normally I will support for Christian Benteke, but now I support for Arsenal.
"I hope we can go to Europe next season.
"I think we deserve that after this season and hopefully next season we can do better."
