Jose Fonte
SAINTS captain Jose Fonte played the full game, as his Portugal side beat Italy 1-0 in a friendly last night.
Fonte started at the heart of defence for his country, although he did not come face-to-face with club teammate Graziano Pelle, who was left on the bench for the Italians.
The match, which took place at the Stade de Geneve, in Switzerland, was settled by a goal from Eder eight minutes into the second half.
