James Ward-Prowse helped keep England Under-21s on course for the 2017 European Championships with a match-changing late penalty in a 3-1 win against Switzerland.

The Saints midfielder scored the first of England’s goals in the 82nd minute, Switzerland having led at half-time at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium.
Ward-Prowse sent the ball into the bottom right corner and, with a draw looking likely, Saints left-back Matt Targett, who played the full game, found super sub Duncan Watmore, who gave England the lead.
Watmore inspired England's comeback by winning the penalty and then rifling in a deflected 20-yarder before setting up Arsenal's Chuba Akpom for the third to leave England with ten points from their opening four games - three clear of Switzerland at the top of group nine.
Saints defender Jack Stephens was suspended, following his sending off in last week’s goalless draw away to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
