THIS is Olufela Olomola, the teenage star who could make his Saints debut before the season is over.
Ronald Koeman admitted Saints' injury problems gave him little choice but to include the 18 year-old striker on the substitutes’ bench against Sunderland.
The academy prospect was included in Saints’ matchday squad for the first time yesterday.
Koeman said: “We have injuries with strikers Shane [Long], Charlie [Austin], Jay [Rodriguez] so we have Juanmi and the young boy on the bench.
“He’s a young talent showing a good shape in the Under 21s. He can play in the Under 18s but it’s all about who is available.
“If you don’t have more you look down to the academy.”
Olufela, who is known as 'Fela', is a former Arsenal trainee born in London to Nigerian parents.
A strong and versatile striker with explosive pace, he chose to move to Saints in 2014 despite offers from West Ham and Newcastle.
