Fraser Forster and Ryan Bertrand will today learn their England fate with Roy Hodgson set to name his 23-man squad for the European Championships.
The Saints duo are both tipped to make the cut as Hodgson prepares for this summer’s tournament in France.
Forster has looked in a shoe-in for inclusion ever since his dramatic return from injury, and two caps earned against Germany and Holland in March.
He is still likely to be understudy to Joe Hart, but is pretty much certain to go.
Bertrand is expected to be named as one of two left backs by Hodgson, but does face competition with Leighton Baines, Danny Rose and Kieran Gibbs for competition.
