VICTOR Wanyama has completed his £11m switch from Saints to Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Wanyama has had a contract offer on the table at St Mary's for some time, but showed no interest in extending his stay, despite a hugely successful three-season spell.
The Kenyan is reunited with former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino and has signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane, where he will likely compete with England's Eric Dier for a starting role.
Saints were keen to recoup much of the £12.5m outlay that saw Wanyama move from Celtic in 2013, and saw no other option than to sell the combative midfielder on this summer.
Therefore the £11m on offer from Spurs was an attractive proposition over letting one of the club's prized assets leave for free next summer.
