Shane Long could face several weeks on the sidelines after limping off against Inter Milan with a hamstring injury.
Claude Puel confirmed that Long will definitely not be fit to make the trip to Manchester City on Sunday, and will be assessed at Staplewood tomorrow.
However, it could be a few weeks out for the Republic of Ireland striker.
“It was an injury for Long with his hamstring,” reported Puel.
“I think the same leg he had in the international game.
“We will see tomorrow but it seems it will not be possible for him to play on Sunday.”
