SAINTS will target Swansea's Gylfi Sigurdsson and Leeds defender Pontus Jansson in the summer, according to widespread reports.

Sigurdsson is currently in the midst of a relegation battle with the Swans in the Premier League and has several clubs ready to pounce on him if Paul Clement's side drop to the Championship.

The Iceland international, 27, has netted eight times and assisted 11 goals in the league in a struggling side and will reportedly command a fee of around £35m, with Everton, West Ham and Newcastle also interested.

Centre-back Jansson was initially on loan at Elland Road from Serie A outfit Torino, but triggered a clause in his contract with Leeds after making 22 appearances.

That milestone meant that he signed a permanent deal with Garry Monk's side, which will be initiated when his current loan deal expires this summer.
