Thomas Tuchel
Thomas Tuchel has ruled himself out of the running to become the new Saints manager but was not the club’s shortlist anyway.
Sky Sports News have reported that the former Borussia Dortmund boss would consider a move to the Premier League, but is not interested in taking over from Claude Puel at St Mary’s.
However, the Daily Echo understands that Tuchel was not on the shortlist to become the club’s next manager, with bosses having considered him and decided he was not the right fit at this point in time.
Tuchel was the early favourite with the bookmakers for the job, but has quickly drifted out following the report.
Frank De Boer has been installed as the new favourite.
