SOCIAL media has been awash with images of leaked Saints shirts rumoured to be next season's new home and away tops.

In the last 24 hours, pictures have emerged of a red and white home top, which has apparently gone on sale abroad, with one Australian fan already wearing the supposed 2018/19 shirt before the official launch this Saturday, June 16.

And then there's a yellow and blue top, which, according to social media chat, will be next term's away shirt.

The supposed new Under Armour home top has had a mixed reception online, but Saints fans will find out this Saturday what all the new kits will definitely look like.

The home top will go on sale from Friday, June 29 after Saturday's reveal, while the club are yet to announce when the away one will be available in shops.

It is understood the home shirts have been distributed and sold through outlets prematurely via the club's main kit sponsor, Under Armour, but the yellow top has not been seen for sale anywhere.

"Southampton’s brand new Under Armour kits for the 2018/19 season are coming soon," the club recently stated on their website.

"The club will be revealing its eye-catching home and away strips on Saturday 16th June, when it will also be launching its latest range of training wear.

"Additionally, for the first time since the 2007/08 season, Saints will produce a third kit for the new campaign, which will be unveiled later this summer and will also be available for fans to buy.

"Once again, each of the strips will make full use of the latest, cutting-edge technology from Under Armour.

"The home kit will be available for pre-order as soon as it is revealed, and will go on sale in our Stadium Store, Westquay Store and online from Friday 29th June.

"Due to an issue beyond the club’s control, there will be a delay in the away kit being available to purchase.

"Full pre-order and on-sale details will be announced in due course, with the away kit set to be in stores from late August, although everything is being done to bring this date forward.

"Training wear will go on sale with the home kit from Friday 29th June, while details on the third kit will be announced when it is revealed.

"Please note, there will be no pre-order period for training wear or the third kit."
