SAINTS have launched their new kits for 2018/19, revealing a home shirt with red and white stripes and a crowd-pleaser yellow and blue away top.

After last season's 1980s throwback home shirt, the club have returned to a more familiar red and white look for the tops, with black shorts and red and black socks to boot.

As well as that, for 2018/19, they have gone for a more traditional away look, with a return for the yellow and blue, the colours which were worn in Saints' FA 1976 win.

The club said: "Both strips once again feature the latest, cutting-edge Under Armour technology, with this year’s stylish home shirt featuring traditional red-and-white stripes, with an all-red back, sleeves and shoulders, as well as black shorts and red-and-black socks.

"The away kit takes inspiration from the past, with the club producing a brand new yellow-and-blue strip, reminiscent of what was worn in Saints’ famous 1976 FA Cup victory.

"The striking yellow shirt, which is blue across the sleeves and shoulders, is accompanied by blue shorts and blue socks."

When can you get your hands on the shirt, then?

"The home kit, as well as the club’s new, blue goalkeeper kit, which has also been unveiled, are now available for pre-order, either by going to the website or by calling our mail-order hotline on 0845 688 9433," the club state.

"The kit will go on sale in our Stadium Store, Westquay Store and online from Friday 29th June, with pre-orders to be sent out with the aim of delivery on that date."

"Due to an issue beyond the club’s control, there will be a delay in the away kit being available to purchase.

"Full pre-order and on-sale details will be announced in due course, with the away kit set to be in stores from late August, although everything is being done to bring this date forward."

If you've decided none of the new kits float your boat, there is another third kit out at some point this summer.

Of course, this isn’t the first viewing Saints fans have had of the new kits.

Images of these shirts circulated online before the club’s official release, with fans abroad even able to buy the shirt early.

It seems the leak stemmed from shirt manufacturers Under Armour, who had distributed kits early to shops outside of the UK.
