MICHAEL Svensson has recovered from his knee problem in time for tomorrow’s game at Reading – but is a doubt after falling ill.
The luckless Swedish centre half looked certain to slot back into the heart of the Saints defence at the Madejski Stadium after overcoming the knee problems that have plagued him since his incredible comeback.
But no sooner was he feeling ready to come back then he has been struck down by illness.
Saints are still hoping he will be available but the final decision will rest with Svensson.
With Ollie Lancashire out through injury and Alex Pearce ineligible to face his parent club, Saints could really do with having Svensson available to partner Chris Perry.
