Forest outclassed us - Jan

Jan Poortvliet admitted his side deserved to lose their crunch relegation clash with Nottingham Forest.

Saints are staring right down the barrel as a 2-0 St Mary’s reverse leaves them just one point clear of the drop zone at Christmas.

And with a dismal home record of just one league win all season things are not looking good.

He said: “It was a bad result at the wrong time.

“I think they deserved it. We didn’t do enough to win the game.

“We had not enough power to give them a difficult time and when they scored the goal it looked difficult for us to do it because we didn’t have enough attempts or possibilities.

“It was a disappointing afternoon.

“The only complaint was a little bit about the referee but then you are looking for an excuse.

“We should have done more and had more presence in the game itself and I look especially at the forwards because we didn’t do enough to bring the game to our side.

“The goals were at the wrong moments.”

Jan really getting sick of your constant excuses. Your not up to the task! You promised so much more before the game agian, and again it is clear you are trying to get people to belief in you, by talking yourself up. Yet your record with Saints stinks, and says different!

Outclassed us....not difficult when your playing a Jan side. This gamble is not working at all and it is time for some drastic and positive action before we are sent to the deep darkest depths!

Quote from JP. "The only complaint was a little bit about the referee but then you are looking for an excuse."

I only caught the last minute on the radio and the general consensus was that the ref and linesman did ok, so yes Jan you are looking for an excuse.

Dear Rupert,

The odds on the survival of you, the board and the coach just got alot shorter after yet another gutless display. Sad to say but the only investment in this football club is at the bookmakers where Southampton are now quoted at even money for relegation.

It must surely be time Rupert for you to reverse out of Southampton Leisure Holdings and back to Insecure Retirement.

With you and your madcap ideas the only way is down.

Nurse come quickly it's time again for Mr Lowe's medication.

"I look especially at the forwards" - which ones would those be Jan? The proven goal scorers are all on loan and as for the rest have they got more than a handful of goals between them all season?

Today's result is a catastrophe given the opposition, the large crowd and the difficult matches to come before New Year. We need drastic change quickly - but I fear we are not going to get it.

Another S H I T performance at home and one I completely expected to be honest.

Holmes looked good in the 1st half sfter his long spell out but due to fitness could not play the whole match.

after the 1st goal we looked out of ideas and tried to play too pretty football our crossing from corners and out wide was shocking as was our midfield play with the exception of Jack Cork who will surely be gone soon as his loan ends.

Mcgoldrick was a complete waste of space as ever and was rightly subbed for the more mobile BWP but even he faded after there 2nd goal.

all in all Poortvleit has no idea at all and after a terrible run at home with 1 win in 11 matches is just not good enough and if this continues we will heading for League 1.

The board (Rupert Lowe) must act now and be brave enough to admit he made a mistake in appointing him as he cannot make a difference to the way we play at all where as Nigel Pearson last season could motivate them to produce results when they counted.

Thanks for the xmas present Jan but it is just an empty box with nothing in, and all I want for Christmas is you P45 and Lowe's clowns out!!!

There's been a bad feeling at the club since Lowe came back & i can't see it improving until he goes. As a season ticket holder who wanted Nigel Pearson to stay on as manager, I read with interest the League 1 table today. I had hoped that our current manager and team would provide a performance to inspire all the fans who paid to watch them play today. Instead we were yet again forced to watch a dismal display at home. When will Mr Lowe admit that yet again he has failed in his choice of manager? I, along with a number of other fans, expect it will be either when Saints are in administration or relegation.

Sorry Derek! Keep, keeping the blind faith! Went to the match and even you had asked for two up front!!?? Bad defense, no strike force, no players winning the high balls yet again!
Rupert made a massive gamble with Jan and another of his fads has failed. Rellegation form I am afraid. Rupert + Co MUST go for good and Jan must be sent packing. Please don't anyone tell me where we get the money for another manager, because at this rate there will be no fans, no season ticket holders attending in future, oh bar a few keeping the faith!. Mr Barclays bank manager, please can you insist that we have Leon back. Why on earth did Lowe get rid of Pearson?? I tell you why, because he was short sighted, does not know anything about football and was hoping, like Woodwarde that if his gamble came off, he would be applauded for his intuition! Lowe, Jan and I am afraid the lads today are making us all look total prats!

It's looking grim, not just for our survival in the Championship but for our continued existence.

Jan has no tactical sense at all. To start with Euell instead of BW-P was stupid; not to make the change at half-time was incredible and then eventually to take off McGoldrick when you're a goal down and need an extra forward not a replacement one was crass.

Only Holmes showed any pace. BW-P could have threatened from the right or as twin striker with his pace.

Game after game at home we play the same system - the only system Jan seems to have in his repertoire. It may have worked with top-notch Dutch stars back in the seventies but it is not working here and now with inexperienced players.

Except when we play the long ball forward, it takes a minimum of 8 and often 12 passes to get from our penalty area to the opposition's. By that time even the less able opponents are able to get 8 men or more behind the ball. We are then having to play such tight passes that we lose the ball more times than we even remotely threaten a goal. All this passing is very pretty but is wholly ineffective. We simply disappear up our own proverbials as we run round in ever decreasing circles.

In contrast today, Notts Forest did the same at speed with 3 or 4 passes and had more space to create real scoring chances.

Our defence cannot defend high balls from set pieces. They are too short and aren't willing to put themselves about. The first goal was a free header and we nearly conceded more from cross balls.

Up front, with one 'striker' supported by others in ad hoc manner, we put no pressure on the opponents' defence.

If we are relegated, we go out of business. Jan should go but we probably can't afford to pay him and his support coaches off and we seem unable to afford a better manager. With his big pay-off (no doubt) from Blackburn, perhaps Paul Ince would do the job until the end of the season for free (said with tongue embedded in cheek!).

But the players must take some of the blame. They are not giving their all. They should look themselves in the miror. They may think they are budding prima donnas but, if so, they are deluding themselves.

I fear for our future. As a Saints fan for more than 50 years, I do not see much of a future for my beloved club.

COYR (please, please, please).

Have to agree with the comments above and say that the hype clearly blew back in the face of the board and the management today. Did you forget to tell the "players" that this was an important game, Jan? maybe they understand your football talk as much as I do. (You make goals out of wood by the way, that is the material they use for clogs where you come from and until we play a team wearing them we never stand a chance of winning!)

Time for change Rupert. Start on Tuesday by resigning and taking that three wise Dutchmen with you.

No matter what it takes change must happen. Rupert has proved again and again that he does not have enough nouse to chair a blow football club. Get out, take your worthless shares and your pathetic ideas and give the club back to the fans who have seen football played with passion and pride and not the gutless lot we saw today.

Yes Tracey, I would normally applaud your faith but blind faith, head in the sand, will lead to the club's ruin. Something has to be done but I know not what. We are in such a financial bind that we can't afford to change personnel on the field, nor off I suspect.

I have been prepared to give Jan time to get the young and inexperienced players to gel into a team. But time has run out. He's not up to the job - tactically bereft. The players' heads are now dropping. Supposedly bright young players are getting found out for what they are: insufficiently self-motivated and ambitious (to become better footballers rather than just line their pockets).

The country is in recession and it's going to get worse next year; only the fittest businesses will survive. We are in deep trouble. A lot of footballers are going to be out of a job as their clubs go to the wall. They'd better realise that and start to earn their inflated wages. I will not continue to pour good money into unworthy pockets for much longer. The good days are over for mediocre footballers.

St Compo I think it would be a start if RL was kicked out on his backside, that would bring in some more paying customers, and if todays turnout is a measure of what sensible priceing would do then there is more revenue, most people have their tickets for the cup match so I don't think that added many more customers to the gate, with added revenue we could support one of our goalscoring loanees at least, but I suspect RL would not go as he will be out of the public eye again and not be so popular for his other businesses

I do believe JP has got both hands tied behind his back in terms of the players he is allowed to pick, based on wages by Lowe. It doesnt excuse his poor tactics of playing just 1 up front at home, or his ability to change a losing mentality.

But lets get real here, we all know who the real culprit is, Lowe. Lowe got us relegated, Lowe is trying this dutch expertiment because its cheap and he can totally control the shots, making all the decisions for the club to ensure he tries and salvages some of his and Wildes share investment.

I and other fans have been on this site since the beginning of the season warning fans of the writing on the wall.

Today, a huge gate turned up in support of the team, due to the reduced pricing and realisation of how important it was not to loose today to 3 from bottom Forest.

Well, the extra fans made no difference at all. We lost again, the manager is not experience enough and doesnt have the players at his disposal to achieve what we all want, a team capable of winning home games at least!!!!!

If you have had enough of Lowe and his poor decision making on behalf of SFC or are boycotting SMS, please drop me a line, stating the number of adults and children not attending as a result of Lowe.

Who to take his place why Crouch of course. Ok I know he didn't last ;ong but he was on the right track. He also knew we had to cut the playing staff to the bone and its the same medicine but it would have been under NP and thats the difference.

It is quite obvious that Rupert Lowe is to blame for the current state of our club,he picked Jan and makes all the important decisions.
I do wonder about Jan tho. All around him are saying 2 up front would be better,Lallanas most effective position is just behind the striker,so why is he played out on the wing.BWP was great at right wing in pre-season but Jan puts him on the left. There has always been a problem at the back but nothing was done, and McGoldrick is so assured of his starting place he doesnt put in the effort,I say give Paterson a few games and leave McGoldrick out for a bit,or is it a case of "Rupert wantz uz to play zis way and try to make goalz and I I I I I I I I try to make im appy".
As for the Forest game,it seemed to me that some of the players just didnt want to put the effort in just in case they picked up an injury before the transfer window opened.

I was prepared to give support to Jan and the footballing philosophy he advocated, after watching us against Palace on Sky,which i thought summed up everything that is wrong with this style of football, followed by that abysmal 1st half at Burnley,i would have still forgiven those performances if we would have done the business at home yesterday to Forest because it would have given us a cushion to perhaps build on because we all knew it was going top be a struggle this season. Not any more,i cant take these inept performances,so utterly utterly spineless, how Lowe can we go????
Superman,Batman,Col Gadaffi,Col Sanders please i beg you come and save our sorry **** because there`s 300000 Saints fans mourning the demise of this club this morning.

In the normal scheme of football life the odd home loss would not be an issue and fans would stay on board, but the problems at SMS are glaringly obvious I am gobsmacked that we have ended up with such a green manager,3-5-1 works on paper with wide players bombing forward to support the lone striker ,one in the hole behind him and then dropping back to support the back 3,sounds great (even looks like 4-4-2 to the uninitiated) but it dont work in this division-Is jan as stubborn as Lowe and scared to change it,looks that way,the players arent knocked back by it,and there will be hell of a price to pay.Still feel that Jan is the best man- to be in charge of the academy and dear old Rupes should have the burger bar!!!Heres a thought wouldnt it be great if Rupes was pulling pints at half time I am sure he wouldnt get much stick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clearly I was quite lagared up this morning when I made my nonsensical rant about tidal waves and eclipses etc

However the main theme of pure rage about yesterdays events on the pitch still consumes me. All the comments above are spot on IMO. I think the cogs are moving too quickly for us to stop them, the momentum is too great for us to turn back from the brink and survive this mess we are in.

We narrowly missed out on relegation last year and our squad / management structure is worse than it was, so what hope do we have?

Rupert Lowe, for the sake of sanity can you get rid of Jan, get a proper manager in, get our strikers back from loan and finally throw yourself off of the Itchen Bridge. I know all of this involves getting your chequebook out but in the long run it is the most economical option.

If we honestly can't afford it then we might as well wrap up the business now and all go forth and start supporting Bowls or Tiddly Winks or something not quite as demanding and emotionally draining as supporting Southampton Leisure Holdings FC.

If we are that skint why did we shell out £1.2m on Schneiderlin when an experienced professional English manager was far a far higher imperative than a fancy dan holding midfielder.

How do we move forward? What is our out? How do we move away from the brink when we can't even beat teams below us at home?

This team is not set up for this league, every other team looks bigger stronger and hungrier than Rupert Lowe FC.

I've got a horrible feeling we will be found out in a massive way against UTD.

Almost forgot.....

The second half performance at Burnley gave heart and all the P R rubbish throughout the week ie the players are hurting etc.
Instead what we witnessed was the worst saints performance iv witnessed for a very long time and theres been a fair few!
NO HEART NO FIGHT NO PASSION NO SKILL against a side who are in the bottom 3. Forest won every ball and the second ball as well.
Saints were 5 yards off the pace every time for many periods the game seemed to just drift along in a daze.
Mcgoldrick is a lazy waste of space the biggest cheer of the day was when he was taken off!

My choice remains to support my team through thick and thin, without any personal or political hang ups! I also subscribe to the "let's make the most of what we have got, and give youth a chance" opinion. However, I cannot let Jan get away with this without making the commet that yes, we were outclassed and that certainly includes him and his coaching team. Forest are in the same circumstances as us and have a even younger team! But their manager/coach has his team playing to a workable system, with high tempo and commitment. We can only "play" in the middle 60% of the pitch, and cannot defend or score goals. Apart from our tactical shorcomings, I now have to finally admit that I doubt Jan's ability to motivate his team. Calderwood (Forest's manager) is in the Nigel Pearson mould, and I now am erring towards the view that Jan was a major mistake, although remember it was cost based! Based on the last two games, Burnley and Forest, I am now very concerned about our total lack of fight and commitment, i.e. McGoldrick, Euell and Scacel etc, and the thought that our last two games of the season are the reverse fixtures, Burnley home and Forest away now frightens me!! This post reflects my views, and I would also say that "getting pertsonal" with fellow supporters, albeit some obstaining, doesn't help the cause! I want to say "Keep the faith", but my security sign in is "lord-most", perhaps not?

My main impression of the game was the lack of any real reaction from the crowd, Northam did their bit to start with, but after the first goal there just seemed to be a quiet resignation, no protests, no barracking, a few boos at half time, then an atmosphere that makes a morgue seem like a fun palace. We all know the reasons, inept management, inexperienced players mostly playing out of position,no money,no spirit, no incentive to do well, lack of moral fibre, a once proud club being humiliated week after week, with meaningless platitudes being rolled out after each disaster, frankly relegation material unless someone gets their finger out.

Had to laugh cynically on Friday at Dave McGoldrick's headline in the Echo "McGoldrick Fired up to Beat Forest". Thought that was a joke when I first read it, and seeing yesterday's lack of effort or ability from him confirmed it. Also, why do we continue to play with just one forward (rubbish as he is) when we are at home? Total nonsense and plays into the oppositions hands. Looking at Forest forthcoming fixtures ... Doncaster and Norwich, Saints will start then new year in the bottom three, and stay there unless the manager changes his tactics, or the supporters get rid of the boardroom jellyfish.

Just thank yourself that you haven't had to spend your spare cash and time at Christmas travelling to see a team that kept Southampton on the map for decades, but now have brought shame on the city. This is not always the players fault though from some there is an obvious lack of effort and moral fibre. It's the way that the club has been managed since we got to the cup final. And in answer to your question, when Plymouth stroll off with the 3 points on Boxing Day, and maybe a 3 or 4 nil win ... you will have answered your own question.

Apart from the Man Utd game I don't think we'll be seeing a crowd like that for a while, if I'm honest I think we'll soon be thinking that 15k at SMS is good.
I don't very often write comments on here & when I do I normally try to be a peace maker as I agree with the negative & the positive comments but there really is no positive anymore.
I really don't want to be negative as I love SFC & want nothing more than to see them do well, I'm more than happy with survival in this league this season, how bad is that.
I'm a season ticket holder so I go to every home game but I also try to get to a few away games, I've seen some good games this season but if I'm honest I've seen more shockers. I think that the players can do better, I also think that the manager can do better but having said that I have run out of patience & time is running out for us in the championship.
Jan & some of the players are perhaps out of there depth but I don't blame them, I'm fairly sure that they didn't beg to be here & that they didn't promise that everything will be fine, for me this is all Lowe's fault, I know some people will defend him & say that it's not his fault but as far as I'm concerned he has a lot to answer for & most of it boils down to doing things on the cheap. Rupert was in charge when we dropped out of the Premiereship, he was in charge for our first season in the Championship which surely was the best season to have a go at getting back up, he was in charge when we brought most of the players in before our second season in this division yet he seems to blame Leon Crouch for that and now he's back in charge we've got off to the worst start ever, what next????? Obviously I don't want to go down or administration but I fear them both & to rub salt in the wounds Ruprt will probably by the club back for £1 or so & we'll be back to square one.
Sorry to be negative just before Christmas but it's getting beyond a joke now.

Yes I know the team played badly, I have previously said so.

At what point do I, as a Saints fan, say enough is enough? Never!! I will ALWAYS support saints through good and bad. I suspect you don't mean that though ;-)

Seriously, I think JP is a very good technical coach, I don't agree that he is out of his depth but he does need to very urgently review the team tactics and make changes (I have previously said this before too).

Yep I agree things aren't looking good.

What the problem here is Derek and myself choose not to slag the team or manager off, whereas other people here do and don't like it when someone has an opposing view.

The practice of a large shareholder putting a company into administration and then buying the company (which is known as a 'phoenix' company) for £1 is legal but greatly frowned on in the City. Lowe may try this little trick. But perhaps we fans should make it clear that, if he does this, we will all walk out on the club and scupper his little scheme.

I note all the anti-Lowe feeling. It's understandable in many ways but I'm not sure his departure would be the best solution at the moment.

BUT HE NOW HAS TO SHOW THAT HE CAN MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION. JAN AND HIS SUPPORT CREW ARE NOT UP TO THE JOB (SADLY) AND YET AGAIN WE HAVE TO BRING IN SOMEBODY WHO MAY BE ABLE TO KEEP US UP. PROBLEM IS: WE CAN'T REALLY AFFORD A BETTER MANAGER. THIS MAY SOUND A BIT 'OFF THE WALL' BUT I WONDER WHETHER SOMEBODY LIKE DAVE MERRINGTON MIGHT BE WILLING TO TAKE ON THE JOB FOR THE REST OF THIS SEASON ON THE WAGES WE ARE PAYING JAN.

After all that I'll still be there next Sunday, I might go to Plymouth on Boxing day, & I will still be there next season, we've all seen some changes over the past few seasons but one thing that wont change is me supporting THE BEST & ONLY CLUB ON THE SOUTH COAST, I hope that there's some more Red & White nutters like me that wont give up. Come on you Reds, new year, new start????? PLEASE !!!!!
Well said, great post!!! Im with you there!

I've said it before you'd have been better off with this side to have dropped last season. You'd have played this season winning and giving the lads confidence, that way they wouldn't have been out of their depth next season.
It wouldn't have seemed ideal at the time but think how it would have felt for the next few years, a cheap team with loyalty to the club.
I like a chirp up, but it's a shame what's happening at St Mary's, derby's would have been fun.

Traceyf,

What proof would you like that things have gone horribly wrong yet again under Lowe's leadership? FACT - We are 4th bottom and are asking a bunch of kids to battle against relegation. FACT - Lowe didn't want Nigel Pearson, told him he wouldn't be offered a contract and decided the way forward was through an "innovative" approach that no other club has tried. FACT - Nigel Pearson is top of Division 1 with one of the best defensive records in the 4 divisions FACT - Lowe brought in Woodward as another of his "innovative" approaches to taking this club forward - he failed. All it did was anger Harry Redknapp. Ever wonder why Redknapp has been successful at every club he's managed but ours? FACT - we were relegated under Lowes leadership. FACT - We have had more managers than any other club in the time Lowe has been in charge. Now it's pure speculation on my part, but I believe such turmoil creates the wrong environment for a club and it's team to progress.
As for Derek, he get's everything he deserves. Dare to write a comment that Derek doesn't agree with and he attacks the individual posting.
Perhaps those that are so upset and angry are the passionate fans while those that sit back and say "keep the faith" don't hurt as badly. The truth is we are a dismal team with dismal leadership. Boys are being asked to perform mens work - it's not their fault, they are simply out of their depth.

St Compo RL has failed SFC time and time again and I have already said his departure would add some finances to the club and with some sensible ticket priceing which yesterday prooved, we could add some money to the club to move forward, I have no doubt that a united fanbase would be benificial to the club, I just hope that it is not too late. There is not one good reason for RL to stay, he is not only a bad business man but also a bad influence on the manager and the team in the real world of business he would have been removed long before now. He has had two shots at it and failed miserably. what makes you think that his departure would not be the solution to the problem at the moment. Rome burned whilst Nero FIDDLED.

It's really difficult to make this point, given the dismal home form. But you won't get Rupert Lowe out by not attending. He has to go, but bad attendance won't make him go. He just doesn't care. The business will just go into administration and he'll be back again with more power. Support the club by going and singing and maybe we'll stay up. If we do, we might get a buyer and a change at the top.

Tracey todays was 100% crap, and trying to fight from this point is really silly! At what point do you as a Saints fan say enough is enough?! As to DOH-pey he gets all that he desrves. He gives out far worst crap, and he should learn to take it. He is arrogant and very rude! He said we would win 3-1 today and that we play good football. Challegne him on this point and gets abusive and claims many are not real Saints fans like he is! He is a TRAIN stuck in the station. Tracey we are in the deep doodoos! Jan is not good enough, and for the good of the club this has to change. The prove in front of your eyes, if you really care to look.
Saint, Yes I know the team played badly, I have previously said so. At what point do I, as a Saints fan, say enough is enough? Never!! I will ALWAYS support saints through good and bad. I suspect you don't mean that though ;-) Seriously, I think JP is a very good technical coach, I don't agree that he is out of his depth but he does need to very urgently review the team tactics and make changes (I have previously said this before too). Yep I agree things aren't looking good. What the problem here is Derek and myself choose not to slag the team or manager off, whereas other people here do and don't like it when someone has an opposing view.
Tracey, no I did not mean that. But all on here will support Saints through good and bad. Though why Tracey dose it have to be so much bad? This is not my question and you know that. The question again in a slightly different way. Are you contented to see this pain and suffering your club is going through and if so how much more can you take before you say enough is enough? Even if you support this club, LIKE THE REST ON HERE DO to the bitter end, dose that make it right?

Please prove that you know Jan is a very good technical coach? I do not think Jan is useless as a coach and technical coach. I know he is and I can prove it. It's call this season so far!

Things are not looking good? Really how far would you like to take this question. There are far more reaching problems to come from this position we find ourselves in. This is obviously worst in the bigger picture than you realise.

As to your last paragraph, well that made me laugh. Firstly the whole colunm is like a double edge sword statment. It literally can be used both ways, and as for DOH-pey he dose. You say he dose not slag of the team. So is it fine for him to constantly slag off other poster, and insult young and old! Is it right that DOH-pey is rude and arrogant towards others if they challegne him? He has no limits to his abuse and deserves all he gets on here. Live by the sword, die by the sword! So both of you say don't slag the team/board even if we mortals can see something wrong, as it should be aloud to continue! Then added to this we should all bow to the holier than thou DoH-pey facetious remarks? Trying to cool when your not achieving this is really silly, and not helping anything, and Tracey I think you know this too. DOH-pey is a train stuck in the station.

It all depends what the priorities are?
If maintaining the share price and balancing the books is put above all else; the best players will be sold, the cheapest maintained and obtained, ditto the management
team. Sell, sell, sell and this is what you are left with.

Maybe not attending St Mary's won't get Rupert out, but I for one will not go whilst he is there. You can of course still support Saints away from home without giving him a penny of your hard earned dosh.

Personally I don't blame the players or Jan. Selling without
investing in adaquate replacements leads to a downwards spiral.
Rupert has other priorities, they do NOT include the team, performances or the fans AND we haven't hit the bottom of the spiral yet!
Merry Christmas Rupert

Denzil you mug, like I've said if Chilworth is in Southampton why do you pay council tax to Test Valley? Answer that. It is you my friend that has revealed yourself, and it's lucky for you.
We're not from Portsmouth, hence we knew so little about Portsmouth FC, and the only time you wound any of us up was when you commented months ago on that poor mother falling from the tower block in Weston months ago.
Your vile comments made us want to discover if you were a stupid little school boy or a vile twisted man, if you'd have been the latter we'd have had you for it. As it goes we've discovered you are in fact a silly little school boy, or a man of very limited interlect.
If you were an adult you've have known that Chilworth comes under Test Valley, how dumb do you look now. Nothing you say offends us as we don't really exist.
You questioned us asking if that's your real name, look back at when we asked, it was to taunt you as a West Indian, why? Because of your vile racist rants, another clue you're a child who just says things for the sake of it, if you'd really been that way inclined you'd have gone mad at the comparrison.
Now little boy, you've been mugged right off online, exposed as the deluded, sick little fantasist you are.
Think what you say in future, when you insult dead mother's children it really is below the belt. That along with mindless taunts such as when Mick Channon had a car crash make people despise you.
In your schoolboy world it may seem like fun, in the real world it's not. If we really believed you were called Denzil and drank in the Chilworth Arms you'd have been in the back of a van a long time ago. People in the bar would have done nothing, believe me, at the time we made enquiries.
Is it falling into place now?
If you take anything from this you pathetic little moron, take this, be careful who you insult in the future.
Anyway thanks for the laughs, once we realised you were a child you gave us plenty to laugh about.
But for now disappear, you are seen as beneath contempt on this site, you offer nothing apart from childish comments, you have been exposed for what you are, the lack of support you've been given shows what others think of you, go, leave the site and never bother us again.

To anyone else we insulted, sorry, we had to make it look real, but notice the good stuff was saved for Denzil.

Andy,

I can see quite clearly that things aren't going well, I just choose not to slagg off the team and management.

Pearson wasn't kept on by Lowe because of wage constraints. On the subject of Pearson (who I agree is doing a great job at Leicester), he is managing a championship side that is in the first division. How well would Leicester would be doing this season if they were in the champioship is anyones guess just as it is anyones guess at how well Saints would be doing if Pearson was still manager here.

Fact, we were relegated while th eteam was under Redknapps management. What were the actual reasons for getting religated? Was it the team didn't score enough goals? Was it the team conceeded to many goals? Did the manager not get the best out of the players? Was it that the players weren't good enough? Was it all Lowes fault? Was it a combination of a number of different things? I say it was a combination of a number of things, you may disagree.

Clive Woodwards appointment was a strange one indeed and I have never said it was good nor bad, I will say however that there is probably not a better coach in anysport that is as good at the technical aspects of coaching a team than Woodward. That is my oppinion, yours may differ.

I agree that a high turnover of managers creates instability.
