DON'T miss tomorrow's Daily Echo for an exclusive interview with the man who negotiated the Liebherr deal.
Chief sports writer Adam Leitch spoke exclusively to Nicola Cortese today following the clinching of the deal that now sees Markus Liebherr as the man behind the Saints.
Cortese personally suggested to Liebherr that he buy Southampton FC and was the main representative throughout the whole of the takeover saga.
The interview is exclusive to the Daily Echo so make sure you don't miss Thursday's edition!

I have been embarrassed over the last few years to be a saints fan under Woopert (how to ruin a club) Lowe.
I pray that we can get back to the top flight in the next 5 years and pass the Skates on their way back down!
Come on Saints! I will be back to support a game in September.

The WWF Group would be unlikely to be revealed.. Keith Harris is a hard nose businessman but would not break confidentiality. They would have been serious player in the game.
All a guessing game as to who Mickeys mates were but we were first told that their money was from a Zurich man with Hundreds of Millions and then Mickey appeared... sorry to say their custard went lumpy.
All in the past now .. the thing I will take from it is that all parties for what ever reason did try to bail our Saints.. for that at the very least I and extremely grateful.

Now let's get behind the team. Just because we have a billionaire owner, does not mean we are guaranteed success, we start the season minus 10 points.
There will be a lot of changes, not all popular. but we need to keep the faith.
We need to keep showing our support for the club we love. After all it was one of the factors for the decision to purchase Southampton FC.
