Saints carry on their winning run

SAINTS made it five wins in a row as they defeated high flying MK Dons 3-1 at St Mary’s.

Despite dominating the first half, Saints fell behind to MK Dons’ only effort on target as Jason Puncheon curled home a free kick just before the break.

But when Alan Pardew changed the formation to 4-4-2 and introduced David Connolly and Michail Antonio in the second period things changed and goals from Dean Hammond, Rickie Lambert and Connolly secured a fourth legaue victory on the bounce for Saints and five successive wins in all competitions.

It was a pretty quiet start to the match as both sides got a feel for each other and the game.

MK Dons were playing a system with Jermaine Easter as the lone frontman but supported by Jason Puncheon who was floating in the hole between attack and midfield while Saints stuck with their now familiar 4-5-1.

Adam Lallana was the first create a real problem when he forced Willy Gueret into a save on ten minutes.

He decided to take an early shot on the half volley and tried to lob Gueret. It was a good effort but the MK Dons keeper just scrambled back in time to claw it away.

Moments later Papa Waigo got away down the right and squared to the far post and Lallana again. He seemed certain to sidefoot the ball home but was blocked by a brilliant sliding tackle from Mathias Doumbe.

Waigo himself was on target on 15 minutes as Lambert headed a free kick back across goal but his effort was straight at Gueret.

Saints were starting to enjoy some good pressure and MK Dons were making it worse by getting caught out trying to play some intricate football.

The St Mary’s crowd were doing a great job for Saints, making the atmosphere intimidating and really putting the pressure on Gueret.

Tempers momentarily flared in the technical areas as one of the MK Dons coaching staff didn’t give the ball to Saints for a throw in, prompting Pardew to fly into a rage and an argument to ensure.

Saints thought they had taken the lead on 23 minutes when Waigo headed against the underside of the bar and in from a right wing cross but the linesman’s flag was up for offside and it didn’t count.

It took until the half hour mark for MK Dons to even remotely threaten Saints, Jemal Johnson getting down the right and whipping in a dangerous cross which evaded everybody.

MK Dons were proving stubborn in their resistance but there was only one side making any kind of an attacking effort and that was Saints.

However, they were struggling to turn that into clear cut chances to get their noses in front and then draw the Dons out.

MK Dons had half hearted penalty appeals turned down when Easter tried to turn Radhi Jaidi in the box and went down.

Jaidi did foul Easter just outside the area to left of centre just before half time and was booked for it.

Jason Puncheon himself stepped up to take it and left footed curled it round the outside of the wall and beat Kelvin Davis diving to his right to give the MK Dons the lead.

It was their first effort on target of the whole half having barley made it into Saints territory and suddenly Pardew’s men had paid the price for not finding a cutting edge to their dominance and went into half time trailing.

MK Dons made a change at the break with Aaron Doran replacing Johnson.

Saints didn’t exactly come out of the traps flying and it seemed a matter of time before David Connolly was introduced and they went 4-4-2.

MK Dons were looking pretty comfortable with a lead to protect and were quite happy to defend.

Pardew made the change he had to make on 54 minutes with Connolly coming on for Wotton and added to that with Michail Antonio coming on for Waigo.

Saints went 4-4-2 with Antonio on the right of midfield and Connolly up front with Rickie Lambert.

Antonio immediately caused mayhem with his pace and skills but his cross come shot was wide of the far post.

Saints pulled themselves back level on 56 minutes with a terrific move.

Morgan Schneiderlin pinged the ball out to the right and Antonio, he knocked it back to Lloyd James who crossed first time to the far post. Dean Hammond had tracked in unmarked at the far post and sidefooted home a low volley under Gueret for 1-1.

Saints suddenly looked a different team, fresh and dangerous and to counter that MK Dons made a second switch with Aaron Wilbraham replacing Lewis Gobern.

Connolly had half a chance when confusion between Darren Powell and Gueret allowed the ball to bounce in the area but facing the wrong way 12 yards out he couldn’t lob his header over the keeper.

There was a melee in the area that almost broke Saints’ way as Jaidi’s header from a corner was blocked on its way to goal and the rebound was somehow scrambled away.

But there was no escape on 74 minutes when Saints worked a neat free kick routine to take the lead.

It was over on the right by-line just outside the area, Lallana dummied it and Lloyd James cut the ball back to the back peddling Lambert who swept the ball home first time sidefooted from ten yards out for 2-1.

MK Dons responded by making their final change with Sam Baldock replacing Easter.

Saints almost conceded a shocker when David McCracken got a free header from a corner at the near post but he directed his effort wide.

Saints made a final change as they looked to hold on to their lead with three minutes remaining with Joseph Mills on for Lallana.

Connolly could have it made it a comfortable end to the game but put a volley on the turn over the bar while Antonio did something similar moments later.

Davis had to parry an effort wide as Saints dug deep in four minutes of injury time but it was Saints who were to finish happy.

Deep into stoppage time a cross from the right was met by Connolly who turned home from close range to make it two goals for him from two sub appearances for the club to seal a 3-1 win and three more precious points.

Great win today...............
after quite a dull 1st half with MKD matching Saints 4-5-1 and sometimes going for man marking in the middle of the pitch. both teams cancelled each other out. MKD snatch a late goal against the run of play with their only shot on goal. Well done Ince mission accomplished in the 1st half.
Saints come out a bit better in the 2nd half but AP did not wait long to change things. brought Antonio on for Waigo and DC on for Wotton and went to a 4-4-2 formation. With immediate effect these changes made a big difference. especially Antonio down the wing who was only too willing to take on the full back and get past him. what was most pleasing for me is that for the 1st time in ages Saints have come back from being a goal down to actually win a game. showed great fight, great spirit and great tactical nouse by AP. up the table by another place and could be out of the relegation zone with a win at Orient next week. Saints are really coming to the fore now and showing some of the spirit that AP has installed into them. Well done AP your steady building block approach to rebuilding our great club is working and working well.

Just got back, I am not joking or being over excited but we were F****** awesome today!!! The side of 2 halves, 1st we dominated, played some excellent one touches but just couldn't convert, mainly down to Papa not knowing what freakin offside means!! As soon a AP switched like last week 4-4-2 & Connolly & Antonio(my god he's absolutely brilliant!!) on we looked like Brazil in red&white, the movement & touches & chances were just non-stop, I know Connolly isn't 100pc yet but god help any team when he is & we start with 4-4-2! I hope Dan & all the overseas Saints could hear the non stop singing, some class p*** taking chants of our down & out neighbours!
Just a fantastic display from this side, how good are they going to get???!!! Time to P.A.R.T.Y everyone, this is going to be a unbelievable rise from the depths, 3 more wins & we are knocking on the playoffs, FANTASTIC SAINTS love them!!!

Got a good feeling about today!!!
I love match days.
From the time you wake, you put sky sport on and try to watch for any snippet of news on your team.
You have a good breakfast and just try to wyle away the hours until it is time to leave. you have that good feeling of anticipation deep in your stomach. you shower and get ready to leave for the match. you slip on your favourite red and white shirt, your lucky undies and socks. you kiss the wife goodbye and start that drive to the mecca that is St Mary`s. no matter what time i leave i always drive as quickly as possible, i want to be at the ground to savour every second of the building atmosphere. why is it that on this drive to the ground you come across every muppet that has ever passed there test, that seem intent on holding you up or slowing you down in every way imaginable?. You arive at you usual parking spot, get yourself sorted make sure that you have everything, ticket, smokes, ticket, money, ticket, car keys, ticket.
You start that walk to the ground and the closer you get the more likeminded people in there replica shirts you meet. you stop at the nearest pub for a pre-match pint and a chat to the fans that you only ever chat to on match days. you complete your walk to the ground to be met by thousands. get your programme, queue at the turnstiles as you go through you give up your ticket to the cheery steward hoping that he remembers to give your ticket back coz you want to keep it safe along with all the rest in your special soccer draw in the bedroom.
you get another pint browse through the programme place a bet at ladbrookes. you climb the steps ans as you reach the top you step out into the arena as St Mary`s opens up before your very eyes. this magnificant stadium filled to the brim.
As kick -off approaches that feeling of anticipation starts to multiply ten-fold in the pit of your stomach. the volume levels continue to rise until the teams are announced onto the pitch and then they reach a creshendo. cherring, whistleing, clapping all this things running through you. if possible the noise escalates as the teams line up waiting for the referee to start this wonderful match.
THIS ISN`T ANY OLD MATCH DAY!
THIS IS A SOUTHAMPTON MATCH DAY!!

What a perfect position to be in..if Papa`s not doing the business Antonio can take over as he did today,he was absolutely superb when he came ,he totally ripped their left back to bits and delivered fast low crosses into the danger areas.Connelly looks extremely quick over 10 yards and with him and Ricky we have a strike force that would scare most Championship clubs let alone L1 sides.Hammond is slowly turning into the Steven Gerrard of this division ..what a buy.In the 1st half we kind of bypassed the midfield and Shneiderlin ended up playing as the 2nd striker. When you look at teams like MK Don(keys) you wonder how the hell they`re on 26 pts?? Once we started to stretch the play and get the ball out wide we totally destroyed them with our superior quality.Charlton are the only side i`ve seen this season with more than 1 or 2 half decent players.Happy days, thankyou Saints i love you.

FANTASIC effort today by everyone of the players, 100% comitment, great crowd as well!... Just a word of caution though, my man of the match was Machail Antonio....he truly is real class, and he turned the game round as soon as he came on, i though Pardew was going to bring him on at half time, Papa Waigo still wonders off side too often; but as far as i know Antonio 's only with us until after the Leyton Orient game, after which his loan period from Reading expires. With Lambert and Connolly playing up front, and Antonio and James feeding them quality balls from the wing, Saints are the best they've been for years. I hope to god we can get him after his loans up.we realy are a different team with him playing 4-4-2....we should be playing this for 90 minutes, and killing teams off before half time, which i'm sure we would do. We will go up, if we play like we did today in the second half....and we wont need to bother about the playoffs to do it either..3 points out of Leeds..2 out of Charlton; if we look at their form in recent games, i'd say their wheels are starting to come off....we've taken 6 points out of Charlton in the last 4 games. Alan Pardew has moulded this team into something really special, cant see anyone causing us problems if we stay relatively injury free......TOP6FINISH

Daily Echo
Sunday May 22nd 2011

Saints won the Championship today and are promoted to the Premiership by beating local rivals and their new owner "R.L." 5-0 and sending them down into League 1.
Mr Liebherr refused to shake hands with "that man" and continued to say that Southampton FC will give Alan Pardew £100 Million to spend, if required.
Joint top scorers, Ricky Lambert and David Connelly, with 35 goals each, are looking forward to the FA Cup final where they take on Manchester Utd, 35yrs after humiliating them at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Skates 3 time manager, Harry Redkrapp, has quit to take over at newly promoted Bournemouth. He is quoted as saying "I am leaving to a bigger club"

RL was outstanding, and just keeps getting better. DC looked a class act and could have had a hat-trick himself.

The standard of ref's in this league is poor though, still, on the bright side 2 years time & we will get the (alleged) world calss ref's again, as long as we aren't playing Manure, Gooners, Chelski etc, etc.

Lets have a stocktake:

Start of season

We couldnt win a header at the back

We lost the ball in midfield

We couldnt convert if the opposition laid down in front of goal

Now:

We have a stout back four (how many headers did AFC Franchise win today?) ,are competing for and winning the ball in midfield
and converting chances in front of goal.

'MK no history' have 1 shot all day.

We now have a manager who understands the game and can make the tactical changes to turn around a deficit.
The silence from the moaners is deafening

Alan Pardew to take over from Fergie, what's the odds?

A lot of Premiership chairmen will be watching him with a beady eye, let's just hope he stays loyal to all of us Saints fans who entrusted him to lead us out of the mire at the start of the season; that'll be me and about ten others on here.

If Alan Pardew said he was going to vote Labour at the next General Election, they might just get in in Southern constituencies, but joking apart, it is good to have you all on board at last.

We were immense today and would have given most Championship sides a run for their money. It would be unfair of me to single out individuals today so it has to be said all the guys wearing red and white striped shirts were fantastic and the guy in yellow should have stuck two from the wall on the posts and he would have been in the middle to catch the fairly weak free kick that he failed to see until it was too late.

See you all at Wembley.

Poor 1st half, trying to play too much like MK Dons long ball style and going for too many set plays. Pardew noticed we needed to change and made it in the 2nd half. Started to get on top of their awkward style, scored a vital goal and made the substitutions at the right time, brilliant tactics from Pards.

I must say that I was a little disapointed by the lack of support before we scored but it was good from then on.

Showing a true winning mentality now and look the class side of the division.

We had the best of what was a poor game in the first half – precious little quality from either side. Our midfield never got on the ball with Morgan in particular ineffectual. Their left back looked dodgy from the start but Pappa had a poor game – absolutely inept at keeping onside.

What a difference when Antonio came on – he murdered the full back with pace and strength, a much better player than I thought when he first played against Torquay. Would certainly be worth holding onto if we can.

Credit to Pardew for changing the formation when it was obviously still not working early in the second half. That transformed a team who, for the first time in years, now look capable of overhauling a side if they fall behind, and maintaining a lead when we get ahead.

Surprised Pardew is preferring James to Thomas at right back but he did OK again today. The other three defenders were again excellent with Trottman the pick of them – strong and good in the air but with good pace too. If we can persuade him and Preston, he should be the number one target in the January window. He was my MOM, just ahead of Hammond, but they all played well in the second half, great spirit and determination and two very well worked goals – for the third, Connolly took advantage of a shocking pass across the back, I think by the same left back who by this time was shell shocked by Antonio’s electrifying performance.

Good call also to take on Mills to give Harding a bit more cover as Lallana tired after another good game.

Markus was indeed there with an even wider grin than usual at the end. If we can keep the crowds up around 20,000 I am confident he will invest again in the transfer window and a £1 million bid plus good wages might just do the trick for Trottman if Preston’s centre halves keep fit.

Still looks like too big an ask but the playoffs are no longer out of the question.

Don’t know where Ince was sitting in the stands today but the communication with his touchline staff was obviously not working – lots of confused signals and confused looks all round.

You should try subbing to the player and listening in to the sms roar at 3am.. it's brilliant. we all post in the echo threads during the games and share the heart stopping nature of the game live.. quite a laugh with all of us sharing live.
The only trouble is the microphones at SMS are right by the visiting fans and we can't hear the fans as well as other grounds. The best by far so far was Southend.. The best chanting and singing heard to date.
I must say the action last night was to quick for Dave Merrington to ruin with his long winded repeating of the commentators statements.
4 or 5 hours sleep on Sat-Sun is becoming a routine.. Man I get the best sleeps on Sunday night lately.. grinning and giggling in my dozy state.

Yep Kiwi Saints Meet has to happen.
We should try to organse it as an end of season party.. maybe in hamilton at "The Londoner" pub (footy pub with decent ale and good tucker).. it's quite central not far for the Aucklanders, plenty of book on line deals for the main hotels and they have an int airport with cheap flights if any Aussie mates wanna join us.

Dear Nicola and Pards... bit far ahead yet but please please maybe Saints could come on an NZ tour end of promotion season - special treat for the team... bit of a holiday... Guaranteed a gathering of the Mighty Kiwi Red and White Platoon and I know you just love the bars and restaurants in Browns Bay Pards ;p

It was a strange 1st half, we were mostly dominating but not getting our rewards. I watched with my brother today and we both said at half time how strange it was that even though we were 0-1 down, we both felt confident that we would pull it back.
AP`s tactical awareness is to be admired, Antonio looks very strong and quick, far more effevtive today than Papa. It would be unfair of me to pick individual players out for special mention as the second half display was about as good as it gets.

I just realised that you've put your clocks back so next week kick off is at 4am our time.. often working til past midnight this is going to be harsh. Worth it though - up the Saints.

Leyton Orient's only hope next week is that Saints will makes some errors so they won't overtake tranmere to take the worst goal difference record. they have -11 and The mere Trannies are on -18.

No reason not to start with 442

Kelv
LLoyd Trots Radhi Hards
Mich Morg Hamma Adam
Davey Ricky

Subs: Papa Jacob Fish Thomo Paul Chris and Bart

Which I believe is our playing squad of 18 now.

The effect of losing our loaners though would be devastating but this must be a priority at SMS and we can have confidence that the cash will come out and contingencies are in place.

Yes Paul...25K average home gate will be there by Xmas

How many fans for Charlton? They have better c/bs than the dons and pace wide but I see nothing to suppose we won't keep up the 3-1 streak.

except lol.... no Orient.. you won't get off that lightly.. six of the best at least for you with Ricky and Dave's pair of hat-tricks.

Hey Dan,

End of season a bit of a wait don't you think? Will be in Nelson by then!!

So "The Londoner" in Hamilton then, date and time tbc. Could have come down yesterday for the rugby and stayed on!

SFC v. The Pheonix......that'll be a laugh!!

Need a secure way to communicate.

Just back from a weekend in Wellington (not too windy!) - great result! Looking forward to being back in November on business and going to the Brighton & Norwich games. Were any of you other NZ Saints at the cricket last year when England toured? We met up with Saints fans at the 20/20 at Eden Park and the Tests at Hamilton and Napier.

1st Post. With all the other Saints fans around the world getting in on the act i thought that the MiddleEast branch of the wonderful Saints supporters club should get on board too. My son is at Southampton Uni and goes to all the games and he keeps me in touch by text while i am watching all the 'big' teams such as Hull and the Skates battling it out to an enthralling 0-0 live. Give it a couple of years and the magnificent Saints will be back in their rightful position on the big screens around the Middle East! Onwards and Upwards COYR!

Antonio, better work fast, as his last game for us, is Orient before returning to Reading. Well worth to see if we can get him on a longer loan. But with Reading doing so badly, I could see them wanting him back.

Great feeling as I drove back to Sutton, a very pleasing, if not frustrating in the first half.

My only concern/complaint is the crowd total. If Norwich can get 24,000, why can't we hit 25,000 with our recent record. Too many people saying they are Saints fans, but not prepared to commit to a game. What's up? Surely not Xmas shopping?

NEXT GAME WE MUST HIT 25,000. No excuses.

By the way... I taught Alan P when he was at Southfields Comprehensive. WHAT an inspired substitution.

Well, what can you say! a magnificent performance and result. I felt slightly dissapointed with the turnout, this team deserve at least 25,000+ I`m up early because I went to bed early, SOZZLED!! COYR
Hi Paul: Cheers for the heads up on the parking issue. Left the van in the park under the Woolston end of The Itchen Bridge and walked across. Envigorating to say the least.Kept noticing the stickers on the hand rail put there by the good samaritans about feeling suicidal! My bad but I kept thinking about the lot down the road as I had just come up the road with their name on it!!!
Went to the stadium and picked up my ticket early. Did some shopping in the Megastore and walked back to the Chapel Pub and had a couple.
Think I'll drive down more often. What a great result!!! After game walked back to pub and had a couple more!!! Took the bus back over the bridge. Didnt think I could walk back.

ML, AP and all the players - you have done us proud recently and are rewarded by large enthusiastic crowds, just like the old days. Let's do everything to keep the squad together. Great team spirit means that we no longer cave in after going a goal down. Thanks to all the staff at SMS. Double jaffa-cakes at halftime next home match. Happy Days! SW wild-past, now wild-future!

The players and management need to take a long hard look at each other after what was an abysmal first forty five that shamed the club today, never have i witnessed such unprofessional behaviour. My dismay is not for the lack of football funnily enough, but that at times it was abjectly woeful Mr Ince, but for the lack of discipline and all the finger pointing blaming each other for errors and things going wrong. It was unforgivable and really should not happen.

How were werent three or four goals down by half time I'll never know with us continually gifting Southampton chance after chance to attack us with only a last ditch sliding tackle when the Saints looked odds on to score by Mattias Doumbe saving us on one occasion and a combination of fluffed efforts, saves and a keen eyed lino the others. The Saints back four must have thought it was their birthday and Christmas all rolled into one as the Dons lined up 4-5-1 and humped high balls aimlessly to Easter, Johnson and Puncheon who were being out played by two tower blocks in central defence. We hadn't a clue how to beat them for the first thirty minutes as Gleeson and Leven were totally taken out of the game by a well organised and slick passing home quartet in the middle of the park.

Quite embarrassingly and so against the run of play was the goal we scored on the stroke of half time we knew Pardew would have the Saints fired up for the second half. If you take your chances no matter how few you get you are always in with a chance and to his credit with Davis offering Punch over half the goal to aim at from an almost dead central free kick twenty yards out, it was rude for him not to curl the ball in for the lead.

The second half was a little bit more of a two horse race but the Dons never looked likely to add to their tally and Saints were still being gifted time and space to play and carve out chances and in the fifty sixth minute Hammond was given time time and space to slot home from a cross, this freedom was also afforded to Ricky Lambert and at the death a suicidal back pass from Lewi as he tried to keep the ball alive as the Dons chased half heartedly an equaliser was taken gift wrapped, with a bow and a beautifully lit candle with love by former Don David Connolly.

Three one was a more than fair reflection that leaves the Dons needing to regroup ahead of next Saturdays visit by Bristol Rovers and more importantly kiss make up and find the love that vanished today.

Dan - NZ is a long way from SMS - but Pocklington is only a round trip of 500-miles...so here's my take on yesterday.
Stood on The Northam with friends joining in with a bit of chanting - saw many of the old muckers from The Itchen in there too. They kicked towards us first half and were unlucky with a couple of chances - but to be honest we didn't really threaten their goal - although their keeper took a lot of stick for terrible kicking! Can't say whether Papa's goal was offside - but it looked alright to me...then again I'm biased!
Cherry on the cake as far as I was concerned - MK not one effort on goal and then that free kick - I called it right - I think Davies should have done better - still 1-0 at HT. Not sure if I was worried or not - we were playing some nice football but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal.
Wooton is the player of a couple of seasons ago - shedding a few pounds has done him wonders. However someone had to give way and the double substitution changed the game. It was only a matter of time before we equalised and then take the lead. A couple of frights at the end when still 2-1 - MK hit the outside of the post!
All in all a good day at the office - and I had 250-miles to drive home afterwards. Still the MX-5 with the roof down soon ate into the miles - back in 4-hours.
Not sorry for staying away last year - all I wanted was a team with heart...and we now have that. Thought the crowd was over 21,000 - someone said 23,000 in the pub after the game.
All we need now is a continuation of this form, opening the Itchen North...there is a massive difference in atmosphere.
One last thing..."Are you watching Rupert Lowe?". Comments made yesterday about how nice it was for the people of Southampton to decide to support the team or not - not because the Chairman says you have to so you can have the team you deserve.
Marcus Liebherr - the people of Southampton owe you big time!

Great 2nd half and fine win. Just a couple of minor concerns; why start 4-5-1 with a holding midfielder (all Wooton did was give away needless free kicks) and Papa Waigo is a joke. He (& another) were definitely offside for the disallowed goal and an average 8-year-old (or my mother-in-law) has a better grasp of the off-side rule!! Anyway, credit to AP for spotting the problems and acting so quickly in the 2nd half. Antonio brought pace, power and directness and gave Lewington a torrid time. Also, Connolly must surely start at Orient next week (if fit).

Bloody Brilliant! Was listening live and must admit I was pretty **** tired so when Dons scored I thought I may as well go to bed (when was the last time you remember Saints coming from behind to win?). Stayed up though and bloody glad I did.... Saints were AMAZING!!! Have downloaded the Football League Show via uknova.com and can't wait to see the saints highlights :)
.
I was playing around with the BBC predictor the other day, and If Saints win all their coming games for November, they should be just outside the playoffs.... and in the playoffs in December. Amazing eh?
.
It's never plain sailing though and no doubt a team or two will throw in an upset, and also we'll probably lose Antonio after the next game, so Papa had better get his timing better to beat the off-side trap.
.
After weeks of hassle, I can actually log back on here again. Yay!
.
Thanks again Markus and Nicola and Alan and the coaches for their faith in SFC. Will never forget it.

Without the points deduction, Saints would now have been 9th, having said that we are only 11 points off 6th place still, and a play off place. Where will we be by the 21st Nov when we meet Norwich at home? Could that be our first 6 point game ?? I note that they had the crowd of the day in Div 1 with 24,000 plus yesterday.

Spoke to a mate of mine who told me NC cant eat untill the second half!!!!! OWNER LOVES US! C.E.O.LOVES US! Manager has got full support of Two People he needs it from! We are so tearing this Div. a new one! I bet that the 3 year contract to get us back to the Championship is really 3 to get us back to the Prem. with AP on a big bonus that he is more than entitled to if he brings the groceries home!
What do i KNOW AND MAYBE MY MATE IS BIGGING HIMSELF UP!!
Whatever happens it can only be good in so much that it is so much better than what we had!
The Management must have an ambition to get us back to the prem with all the spin off value associated.
If they make a decent profit as a result of this progress they may elect to sell the club! If the "Management" is in it for the long haul it would suggest to me that, like us, they want Europe with all that potential profit. Will be huge!!!!!
Be gratefull to The New Ownership if you were in any doubt, get on board and make what we want happen!!!!!
Buy Stuff,go to as many games as you can afford, and please dont miss the boat!!!!!!!
