ADAM Lallana believes Leeds’ attacking style will play into Saints’ hands at St Mary’s tomorrow.
Alan Pardew’s men are aiming for their seventh home league win in a row when Simon Grayson’s promotion chasers visit.
And Lallana is confident Saints will be able to exploit Leeds’ open style of football.
“They’re fighting for the automatic spots and I’m sure they’re going to come at us and try to get a result,” he said.
“But when teams come at us like that it’s better for us.
“When teams put men behind the ball you’ve got to break them down.
“So it’s going to be a real competitive game.
“We owe them one obviously, because they beat us 1-0 at Elland Road.”
With Saints having scored five in their last two games at St Mary’s, and Leeds thumping Tranmere 4-1 on Tuesday, Lallana is not expecting such a tight game this time round.
“We’ve had ten in our last two home games and they got four midweek so it’s got all the material to be a good game,” he said.
