SAINTS have signed Ryan Dickson but are heading to a tribunal over compensation for the defender, the Daily Echo can reveal.

Sources have confirmed the Brentford left back has joined the club, on what is understood to be a three-year deal, after completing a medical last week.

However, the two sides are at loggerheads over the compensation owed for the 23-year-old.

Dickson is out of contract at Griffin Park this summer after turning down a new deal with the Bees.

As he is under 24, Saints must agree a compensation package with the London club.

It is understood Saints have offered less than £100,000, with Brentford wanting as much as £500,000.
