FRENCH top-flight side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard have announced they will play Saints in a pre-season friendly next month.
Sochaux are taking part in a triangular tournament in Switzerland during the summer as part of their preparations for the new campaign.
But they have agreed to play Saints towards the end of their training camp, which is based in Divonne-les-Bains, on the Swiss border.
The game will take place on Saturday, July 17, although the exact time and venue of the match is yet to be confirmed.
As exclusively revealed in The Pink earlier this month, Saints have been considering a pre-season trip to Switzerland.
That would allow the club to visit the homeland of its owner, Markus Liebherr, and chairman, Nicola Cortese.
