DETAILS of who now owns Southampton Football Club have yet to emerge, but it is understood the club's future is secure.
The sudden death of Markus Liebherr left many fans fearing the worst.
However, Saints say the plans laid out when Markus bought Saints 13 months ago will continue unchanged.
The Daily Echo understands that the financing to back those plans remains available.
Mr Liebherr's family are reportedly intending to carry on running the club, in line with the wishes of the late owner, who was keen to see Saints' future secured.
In the meantime, Nicola Cortese's role as chief executive chairman will continue unaffected, as Liebherr handed him complete control of the day-to-day running of the club, following the takeover last July.
