OLLY Lancashire is ready to provide his own report on good friend Adam Lallana’s strengths and weaknesses as he prepares for his first match against Saints since his release from St Mary’s.
Having established himself in Walsall’s first team in recent weeks, the 22-year-old defender, left, helped his side climb off the bottom of League One with an eye-catching 1-0 win at Charlton on Sunday.
Now he is aiming to keep Lallana quiet when Saints visit the Banks’s Stadium this weekend.
“There aren’t many players in this league with Adam’s ability so it will be good to play against him,” said Lancashire.
“We grew up playing together and I speak to Adam a lot.
“We’ve chatted on the phone this week but if the manager wants me to tell the boys about his strengths and weaknesses I will do.”
