And by the way to you as well blinkii123, take Scott MacDonald. Couldnt get into our first team, joined you lot scored a hat full of goals. Decided to go to middlesborough to step up a level and cant score for toffee. The gulf between leagues is bigger than you think, you only get players who have no hope of first team football down here or who are from lower leagues! Look at Samaras, we wouldnt pay 500k for that load of rubbish!
snodgrass?charlie adam?dorrans? all absolute below average players, but come to the championship, and they ran the show. over-hyped nonsense is "the championship"
Dorrans now plays for a Premiership Team in WBA, and Charlie Adam, remind me, he plays for Liverpool desn't he? So how does this suggest it's overhyped you fool. Snodgrass though, ran the show? Is that why he plays for a team below us in the table?

And as someone else pointed out, doesn't Samaras play for you? That's a joke in itself!

Jos is playing well for us, helps when you have a manager that knows what he's doing!

Playing in Europe? I see your fans use the word "playing quite" loosely, you hoof the ball about without providng any entertainment whatsoever and go out in the first stages.

The reaction of your fans tells me you're a wee bit annoyed that we're taking your best player. If you really didn't believe it, you wouldn't waste your time."

Celtic urged to fight off Saints move for Hooper

CELTIC forward Anthony Stokes hopes the club “do everything they can” to prevent his strike partner Gary Hooper leaving for Saints.

The Championship leaders have already had two bids turned down for the 23-year-old Parkhead star, with one offer estimated to be as much as £4m.

And, as reported in yesterday’s Daily Echo, Saints are considering breaking their club record transfer fee with a third approach of anything up to £6m.

Celtic were remaining tight-lipped last night about whether they had received another offer, having not responded to a request for comment by the time of going to press.

However, the club have previously insisted the player is not for sale, and Hooper himself has indicated he is happy to remain with the Scottish Premier League leaders.

The resolve of the Glasgow club’s board would be seriously tested, though, if Saints table a big new offer.

But Stokes has urged them to continue to refuse any further advances.

“I can’t talk about what the club are going to do, but from a personal point of view I would like to think they will do everything they can to hold onto him and I’m sure they will,” he said.
