Actually, this could be a massive statement if we go out and claim three points before the chasing pack has kicked a ball on Saturday. I think it'll work out quite nicely.

I agree, but a month+ away I’d like to think there will be clear space between us and chasing pack by then . Sorry I know its optimistic, but it’s our great club setting my expectations. Starting Saturday COYR.

P.S Good luck Glenn with getting you spon's back or at least flight changed. Hope your commitment is recognised mate!

Having just had our first home game in ages that kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday, I was kind of hoping the rest would be at that time as the result last weekend shows it suits us.

£84 to change flight from LBA to Soton, I think I will try and get sky to reimburse me the money or give me a months free subscription otherwise I will cancel the lot. Saints say Sky dictate to them what games and K.O times etc. what a **** up, my brother in law has booked 20 coperate suit places for the Saturday game.

It is massive BS when you make plans for a game and then have to change for Billy big brand. especially to your extent and I would defo ring them up or email them and see what they say.

Plenty of time for club to get those seats sold, no excuses. Game on the big screen let's make sure the atmosphere of our sold out stadium reaches pubs, clubs and homes........... Never know we could end up with Pompey based fans of the future!

Well I can't make it, it's a bit of a rush on a saturday but with my son finishing school at 5p.m. and my wife any time after 6p.m. thats 3 seats I wont buy. More annoying as reading are quite local it would have been a good atmosphere in the Northam too

If you already bought tickets for the Saturday you may well be able to get redressed (no pun) as they have changed the contract after an agreement has been made, if you have not got a ticket yet it's tough poo.
Check your legal cover on your house insurance or cover from your credit card, it might be worth it

Great news for those of us across the pond, but I feel for all the fans that have made travel arrangements that need to be changed. Sky should definately reimburse fans affected by the change.
It will be a crucial game, as Reading are making a serious run for a top 3 spot. I still think Saints, West Ham and Birmingham will be fighting for the top 2 places come the end of the season. Hoping the Billy Sharp miss at West Ham doesn't come back to haunt us. Nigel, please get Chaplow back in the team ASAP. With him in there, and Lallana back to his best I believe we could have a similar run to last season.

You obviously didn't see Chaplow play against Millwall. Definitely short of match practice though he did play central midfield not on the wing, although we don't seem to play wingers now, relying on the fullbacks. Like to see Lee Holmes given another run from the subs bench

Still can be a full house as long as club make sure all seats are sold, they have nearly 8 weeks.

how can the club make sure all the seats are sold? cant reduce price now surely.
might upset the likes of red army but we only have a core 19k so if it's on telly it won't help unless we go unbeaten til then.
another thing that pi55es me off is where the visiting supporters are placed, I know the logistical probs but it looks cr@p on the highlights when its empty behind the goal.

I don't know how it works but surely the club can say no to sky? Other wise like grumpy said it will probably be cheaper to buy sky than a season ticket, needs to be balanced right.
The seats need to be sold full stop, the price of a seat is not all that is lost, sales of food and drink too. It's up to club to promote itself, stadium on tv half full isn't a good advert.
