Well we might have scored four and kept a clean sheet but I for one won't know if it was a good result until I hear whether David Crook in Wakefield is satisfied or not. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DAVID, LET US KNOW! I'm on tenterhooks here.
I can't wait for Thomas Upton's endorsement or otherwise of today's game.

I don't feel entitled to comment until I have read his positive match report.
Well I was there again as all true supporters are. Brilliant game, great to see Lee get his first goal. Sharp I have to admit doesn't look fit. Had a couple of beers in the the members bar which is on the kingsland side for people who don't know the stadium.
I think he found the statue of ted this week, members bar maybe next game. They've failed miserably getting fans back to the station it was empty last week, one plus no probs getting to the baaaaa!
Nice to hear from a real fans take on the game, funny sharp not looking fit. Think it's probably confidence, a goal should sort him out."

Adkins delighted by quality of Saints' finishing

NIGEL Adkins hailed his ruthless Saints side after they thumped Derby 4-0 to move back to the top of the table.

Jos Hooiveld got the ball rolling at St Mary’s with an early goal, before second-half strikes from Aaron Martin, Adam Lallana and Tadanari Lee completed the rout.

Adkins was thrilled with the quality of the performance, as well as the finishing.

“It was a good 4-0 victory and some good goals,” said the Saints boss. “The supporters got behind the players, everyone’s together as one.

“I think we’ve demonstrated we can score goals again today, resilient defensively. Derby had a little spell just before half-time and just after half-time, we weathered that okay, and we’ve scored some exceptionally good goals.

“Adam Lallana’s from open play, he’s broke the play up in our defensive third and we’ve had an interchange of passes and what a fantastic goal that was.

“Then you talk about Tadanari Lee’s goal – what a strike that was.”
