I'm just reading on The News site that Poopey are calling for more loanees....are they serious???
It's okay, Bill, Appleton's asking for 'common sence from the FL'. So, if he gets his wish, they'll not be getting any loanees, just a few more sendings off! (or is it 'sending offs'?)
Personally...I think the media are getting on Poopey's back unnecessarily...they should have special dispensation to loan in whoever they want (Tevez, Messi, RVP) any price. In fact, I think they deserve to have a diamond encrusted 60k stadium built for them at tax payers and local supplier's expense...and have a "rent-a-crowd" jetted in to fill it every match. They won titles and cups during the Boer War ffs...they deserve it! ;O)"

SAINTS manager Nigel Adkins has hailed Adam Lallana as the best player in the Championship.

The St Mary’s boss made the declaration in the aftermath of his side’s 4-0 demolition of Derby, in which Lallana starred.

The left-sided midfielder was at his magical best against the Rams, dazzling the visitors throughout with his wizardry.

Of his many sparkling moments, none was better than his sublime side-footed volley for Saints’ third goal.

“It was an outstanding goal from Adam Lallana,” said Adkins. “One word sums him up – class.

“For me he is the best player in the league. He is top drawer.”
