Hey saw Slugs & Bill in Chapel at ht! On my way back to Yorks. Was it me or did we actually look better without the 3-L's? Passing crisper and faster and movement better. Guly was fantastic once he was playing up front. At times in first halfnhe was a pedsetrian! Onwards and upwards!
thought the first half of the first half we were pretty ordinary , then we got some posession and started to dominate without being exeptional , second half there was only gonna be one winner , guly played well but my motm was daniel fox .... brilliant display !
agree with all the comments here are the same as my dad and i were saying straight after the final whistle. i am not a big fan of either guly or fox but i will say they played very well today. well done saints and all the fans going to millwall next sat i think on that performance 3 points are coming our way next week.

First published in Saints News

Adam Lallana scored a goal in each half as Saints strengthened their promotion credentials today.

Lallana broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, driving in the opener from Rickie Lambert's knockdown.

And he secured the points in the 54th minute following excellent work from Tadanari Lee.

West Ham's failure to win at home to Doncaster completed an excellent afternoon.
