Notice Chung now has a little group of his own fans in the stands with banners etc. To me Chung shows the deft touch of masterful craft that will take him to the European stardom he desires. He's special.
I was quite surprised by the amount of Japanese supporters we have now, several dozen passed me as I was stuck in traffic all with their Saints shirts on (I must start leaving the game 10 minutes early to avoid the traffic)
They were having a ball... good on them.
Get them down the Station pre-kickoff.

There's at least two on here (RisingSon and I forget the other who once lived in Japan) who could tell you the Japanese for: 'Pop in at half one, the first round's on Slugger.'
Ichijihan no the station to iu pub no ikebana, slugger-san ga ippaime o kate agemasu.
    Thought you'd know.

    What's Japanese for:

'And they call it puppy love,
just because we're in our teens.'?

Award-winner Lambert pays tribute to Lallana

Rickie Lambert shows off his trophy

Rickie Lambert shows off his trophy

First published in Saints News

Rickie Lambert thought Adam Lallana was going to win the Championship's Player of the Year award.

Lambert was shortlisted with two other players - Lallana and Cardiff City's Peter Whittingham.

He said: "I'm proud but surprised because I thought Adam was going to get it. He's been unbelievable this season.

"Adam gave me a big hug and said I deserved it which was nice.

"He's a lovely lad as well as being a great player.

"I have said countless times I think he is the best player in the league; he is something special.

"Players like Adam make my life easier, scoring goals with him around is a whole lot easier."

Lambert's success comes less than a year after many doubted whether he could make the step up to the Championship.

"It's nice to prove them wrong, that drove me on a little bit but I was more than confident.

"It's very satisfying but the main thing is to get promotion."
