Nigel Adkins is in managerial dreamland with a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time this season while his side sit top of the Championship table.

With just ten games of the campaign left many clubs are feeling the pinch of a busy period with injuries and suspensions beginning to bite but the opposite is true at Saints.

Dan Seaborne coming through 70 minutes for the under-21s and Radhi Jaidi recovering from his long-standing knee problem to play the full match have completed the final pieces of the jigsaw for Adkins who has a plethora of choices for each position in his team.

It’s a luxury the Saints boss has not enjoyed before this season and it couldn’t have happened at a better time.
