Can't see us going up really don't think adkins has the bottle to get us where we need to be, sure he means well but him being linked with the england job is a joke as he is totally unproven at the highest level and is imho a bit of a soft touch
I know he's rubbish isn't he? There we were sat happily at the bottom of Div1 when along comes Adkins and Lowe and behold we're suddenly promoted! And if that's not enough he's now got us sat at the top of the Championship with only ten games to go. Git.
Sure hes done very well so far i agree but i personally would reserve judgement til hes had the chance to prove himself at the highest level. totally different kettle of fish. just being realistic here. COYR!!

Promotion boost for Adkins

First published in Saints News Daily Echo: Photograph of the Author by , Chief Sports Writer

Nigel Adkins is in managerial dreamland with a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time this season while his side sit top of the Championship table.

With just ten games of the campaign left many clubs are feeling the pinch of a busy period with injuries and suspensions beginning to bite but the opposite is true at Saints.

Dan Seaborne coming through 70 minutes for the under-21s and Radhi Jaidi recovering from his long-standing knee problem to play the full match have completed the final pieces of the jigsaw for Adkins who has a plethora of choices for each position in his team.

It’s a luxury the Saints boss has not enjoyed before this season and it couldn’t have happened at a better time.
