SAINTS have tied up a deal for Gillingham keeper, Paulo Gazzaniga.
The Argentinian has signed a four-year contract and has already flown out to Geneva to join up with his new team mates on their pre-season tour in Evian-les-Bains.
As previously reported, Saints were interested in bringing the 20-year-old to St Mary's after the departure of Bartosz Bialkowski.
As part of the deal, Tommy Forecast will join Gillingham on a season-long loan.
This means Saints still only have two senior goalkeepers on the books, with the likelihood being another stopper is still on the agenda of Nigel Adkins.
Saints have already made a £6m bid for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland this summer, only for the Championship side to reject it.
