6 Franck De Boer was saying that we will do really well in the prem
7 the team is still incomplete and we are not at their fitness level yet
8 no Idea why the change of squad numbers?????
9 Could be worse, could be attempting to buy a season ticket for PFC.
Where we could have been 3 yrs ago if it hadn't been for NA and ML.
On the question of squad numbers, was in the megastore getting my daughters shirt printed, and the woman in there said that they only have the squad numbers confirmed for Lambert, Rodriguez, Lallana, Fonte, Lee, and Schniederlin. Was surprised Kelvin Davis is yet to be confirmed wearing the number 1 keeper shirt.
    .
squad numbers for this season have not been issued yet. NA said so in post match interview. Keeps people on their toes while we look to bring ion players."

Saints 0 Ajax 1

Saints suffered a 1-0 defeat to Ajax as they resumed their pre-season preparations at St Mary’s.

The Dutch side bossed the early stages of the game but Saints adapted well to bring themselves back into the reckoning.

However, Jose Fonte 's poor pass out from the back gifted the ball to Aras Obiliz midway through the second half and he showed a calm head in front of goal to score what proved to be the only goal of an interesting game, but one which had few chances.

Saints: Davis (Gazzaniga 70), Clyne (Richardson 46), Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox (Shaw 70), Schneiderlin (Hammond 79), Ward-Prowse (Chaplow 79), Lallana (Puncheon 79), Do Prado (Chambers 84), Rodriguez (De Ridder 84), Lambert (Sharp 70).

Ajax: Vermeer, Alderweireld, Anita, Sigthorsson, De Jong, Janssen, Blind, Boerrigter (Fischer 46), Ozbiliz, Van Rhijn, Dijks.
