Promotion to the PL will give Adam the chance to prove if he is the real deal. No place to hide now. He will have to play at the top of his game every week. Sure he can and so far so good. Very important that no one is allowed to tackle him too hard in training.

Our under 21s are more than holding there own against the big clubs in the under21s premier league but then we always have produced some of the best talent in the country only for the big clubs to come and tempt them with big money offers , hopefully we can put a change to that and who knows maybe have four or five saints players in an England team

Why don't the Echo do more reports on our Under 18 and Under 21 teams? Surely fans are going to be interested in how the youngsters are doing given the new league format and the club's interest in producing their own players.
The U18's beat Man Utd last week and the U21's drew, where was a report or even a mention of this on this website?

Interesting thing about the surname Lallana is that it's an Argentinian variant of the Spanish name 'Lalana', which means our Adam's DNA can be traced back to the same place as Lionel Messi. I'm not an expert in science, but is it any wonder the two play such similar football?

I can appreciate that Nigel wants the captaincy to be with one of the old established players.

Let Adam concentrate on his football only and the goals will come.

The other issue is Nigel and his use of subs :

In the Championship - he had options on the bench to make an impact. At the moment - the cupboard seems bare and when he does make his changes it affects the balance of the team when they often go on to concede goals late on.

In my opinion, the quicker the players can relax and enjoy their football in the premier league the better!! Stating the obvious I know, but if it wasn’t for naïve and quite frankly ‘shocking’ defending we’d be sitting in mid table now. We’d all be relaxed and loving it (including the players) and games like Fulham at home wouldn’t have such a generally tense atmosphere. The team would have played with a much more relaxed freedom and not so worried about where the next error would come from and no doubt (with 90 mins of concentration) we would have stuffed Fulham!

On the Saints OS it says "Due to extensive building works taking place at the training ground, attendance at U18 games will be limited. Family members or scouts wishing to attend games should make a written or verbal request to the Training Ground and, wherever possible, we will confirm your request with an invitation to attend the game. Please note that there will be no car parking facilities at the Training Ground.
Tickets are not available to be purchased for U18 matches.

I was also unaware of this fixture, but in many ways this doesn't surprise me...

The club has a vision to play in Europe...
It also wants 50% of the first team to come from our Youth development...

It is just another example that the club not only has a vision of our future, but also are putting plans in place to make sure that when we get into Europe, our 'kids' will already have a certain amount of experience of playing on the continent.

There are allocated seats for the various other sides Academy, U18's and U21's who are often away playing their own games leaving areas of empty seats, which looks bad but isn't a loss of revenue as such. We would all like to receive more information coming out of the Club, it is frustrating being kept in the dark over injuries and players welfare, but the Club chose for their own reasons to keep it in house, I don't think they trust us to keep their secrets. Last season the club refurbished the ML suite (previously the MLT suite) this summer they did the Channon suite and the bogs. My guess is the boxes will be next - although I think they may have done some bits, I've not been in one yet this season but some of my co directors were invited by aap3 to the Villa game. They are currently over priced in my view.

I doubt the programme sellers was about costs probably more to do with restructuring how the club does things - although I obviously don't know for sure.

No flood as far as I know, NC changed the flooring without asking permission to do it, and Franny saw red, nothing more sinister than that, no evidence of any litigation.

Time will tell. This is where I stand at the moment. Not keen on schwi but hope I'm proved wrong, no better manager available and feel Adkins needs and deserves time to prove himself even if we do drop down. He's made mistakes but they could have come off and he would have been hailed a genius.
I see sfc with our facilities as a mid table premier league club and I will settle for that.......... With attractive football, back to 2003 please, happy days!

Judging by last Sunday it is obvious that Club has decided to do the Programme selling from in house sources, rather than asking for volunteers, can't see anything odd about that, but I didn't like the way that it was carried out, but apart from some hearsay on chat sites I don't have any evidence that there was anything untoward going on. I have already expressed my opinion about the Corporate Box situation, it seems that they are being refurbrished and looking for new takers at a time where money is tight, there are not many taking up the offer. Again it is supposition from reading between the lines, I have no credible evidence just opinions from what I have gleaned from various web sites. Unless you have definite evidence posting rumours can only be damaging so think before you post.

The problem here was lack of any tangible information, I have tried hard to find evidence of a Court case and have come up with nothing, I cannot believe it is still ongoing so I would imagine an out of court settlement was done. The Daily Mail is the only paper to publish anything concrete, but even that was based on hearsay by all accounts. It is nearly two years ago when it all blew up. Nothing good can come of pursuing it, just historic and no way relevant to what has happened since or will happen in the future. It is not much of a stick to beat anyone with don't you think?

I think you're worrying too much about matters that shouldn't concern you ghk.
The only thing that matters is what happens on the blades of grass at St.Marys. Get that right and in a financially sound manner and everything else will fall into place. This business will live or die on what goes on there. We pay to watch good football, if we were playing Real Madrid next week and Barcelona the week after I doubt if you would worry about who sold you your programme, and a true saints fan wouldn't care if their function room or box doubled up as the toilets if we played like Brazil. NC wll do things his way, not how we might do things maybe but we have to trust him. Getting things right on the pitch is ALL we should care about, the incidentals will take care of themselves

I still think there will be changes if we don't get a result on Saturday at West Ham. The Senior management team at SFC will not allow us to lose our place in the EPL. If we lose I believe NA will be relieved of his duties and replaced by an experienced Manager to steady the ship. Either that or we will see a Director of football put in over NA to add experience. It's is a pure guess but I would suggest Raffa Benitez may well be working at St Marys soon. COYS!!!!!
