THERE is no doubt that Havant & Waterlooville will get a great reception at Anfield next week.
I always enjoyed playing Liverpool away. We were always applauded and appreciated and I'm sure it will be the same for the Havant lads when they play their FA Cup fourth-round tie next week.
As I was following their 4-2 win against Swansea I recalled playing a reserve team game at Waterlooville during my playing career.

I also smiled as I remembered scoring twice in a 2-1 league cup win against Liverpool at Anfield in 1960.

We were covering Manchester City's win against West Ham on M-Net Supersport but there is no doubt the BBC missed a trick by not screening the match that showed what the FA Cup is all about.
