Training Message for all Rep Squad Parents
To All Rep Squad Parents
Southampton Football Club have invited one squad to come down to the Dome at Staplewood on Friday evening for a training session with the Academy coaches followed by some small sided games against the Academy players.
Unfortunately we can only take one side down there this time and then later in the season they will have the other squad down.
As it is short notice this time we have decided that the blue squad will go this time and the Red squad will go later in the season.
The session will start at 6pm and the academy coaches have asked that all players are there for 5.30 for a warm up to start at 6pm.
Players must wear their Blue training kit as given out at training last Friday
Because of this session at the dome, unfortunately it means we will have to cancel regular training at Knightwood this Friday.
Could you all please confirm receipt of this email by reply and also for the Blue squad can you please confirm that you will be attending the session at the dome. If there are any players from the blue squad who cannot attend we will ask players from the Red squad if they would like to attend in their place
Normal training will resume on Friday 12th October and on Saturday 13th October there will be a game at Fleming Park, 10am kick off between the 2 squads to make sure there is a good balance in the teams and that they are of a equal standard.
