Sparks Still Unbeaten
The match was kicked off by the hosts, Hythe.
Within the first few minutes, Sarisbury's Joe Singleton took a shot at the goal which hit the bar.
Another shot from the rebound was saved by Hythe's keeper Harrison Smith, but then Dylan Giles netted the ball for the opening goal.
Most of the action happened in Hythe's half for a while with some good moves by Sparks, interspersed with a few spells of danger in their own half, but Sarisbury's keeper and defence dealt well with the pressure.
Sarisbury themselves launched some decent attacks as well: Dylan Owen landed a good shot which was saved, and a Sparks corner was only just fished off the line, but the score at half time was still 0-1.
In the second half, Sparks soon increased their goal difference when George Carter-Jones took a throw-in which was goal bound, and Dylan Giles made sure it went in with a swift tap.
Another Sparks attack ended in a scramble and was saved by Harrison Smith, the next one ended in the net but was given offside and at the other end, Ian Domone made another save, then the pressure was on Hythe again.
Sparks got a free kick in their own half, and Dylan and Blaine took the ball all the way to the other end, where it was kicked straight into the goal by Dylan Owen.
The next Sparks shot was saved, and their further attempts at the goal were also unsuccessful, often due to a lack of coordination, so the final score was 0-3.
