Hot Shot Luke Dunn Hits 5 for S&D Youth

After 2 weeks without a game due to the weather the S&D players were itching to play and started the match strongly with Hot Shot Luke Dunn opening the scoring early in the first half.

Midfielder James Smith added a second a few minutes later, however it was not all one way traffic as Kingsway Colts hit back with a goal shortly after through William Ashton when S&D failed to clear the ball after a spell of pressure from Kingsway.

Luke Dunn struck again towards the end of the first half with a carefully placed shot inside the left hand post to restore S&D Youth’s 2 goal advantage.

Once again Kingsway struck back before the break with a goal from Andrew McCallister to make it 3-2 at the interval.

The second half of the match saw S&D dominate possession and extend their lead with goals from Isaac Boyce, Ross Mason, Alex Smith and 3 more from Striker Luke Dunn to net him 5 for the day as S&D ran out 9-2 winners.

Both teams played the match with a good attitude and spirit and were a credit to their clubs and the Tyro League.
