Win Keeps Baddesley on Right Track

Another glorious morning saw 2 sides evenly poised in the league come face to face.

Not much separated the 2 sides in the first 15 mins both trying to get the ball down and play some nice football.

It was Baddesley who had a great chance to take the lead when Ryan was tripped in the box and a penalty was awarded only for the Hamble keeper to make a cracking save to his right to keep it 0-0.

As much a Baddesley were pushing it nearly cost them in the last few seconds of the half when the Hamble striker hit the top of the cross bar.

Baddesley started the second half stronger and after 2 good chances from corners had gone a begging the next corner was swung in, it dropped to Alex and from 8 yards out he thumped it into the net.

Now their tails were up and the football was quick and decisive, some smart play down the left with some one touch football in the middle saw Ryan run onto a clean pass to slot home from close range and make it 2-0.

5 mins later it was 3-0, again the passing was crisp and there was Ryan to slot the ball home with 10 mins to go.

The Baddesley defence were in fine form again and must be very disappointed to spoil there clean sheet, a smart move down the Hamble left saw there forward hit a fine shot past the diving keeper.

It was too little too late from Hamble as Baddesley saw out the final 2 mins to secure a vital win 3-1.
