After all the rain the pitch was very heavy under foot as both teams lined up after good wins last week.
Baddesley had the better of the start and took the lead after 10 minutes when some nice one touch football saw Ben slide the ball home.
Soon it was 2-0, Ryan some how with 3 defenders around him carved out a chance for Tom to slam home and after 20 minutes it was 3-0 Baddeslay when Joseph got in on the act when he found space and lifted the ball over the keeper into the net.
But if Baddesley thought this was going to be a white wash they needed to think again some nice play by Hillcrest saw a ball over the top and there forward slotted home and 2 minutes later it was 3-2 with the Baddeslay defence in no mans land their forward slotted home again.
Baddesley then took control again and with the half coming to an end Ryan got his first of the game to take it into half time 4-2 to Baddesley.
Some strong words from the Baddeslay coaching staff and a tactical change saw Baddesley come out second half the better side and after 5 minutes Ryan got his 2nd of the game when he ran onto a long ball and rounded the keeper to slot the ball home.
A few minutes later it was six as the ball fell to Mitch on the left hand side who again slammed the ball into the net.
Baddesley had their tails up and the Hillcrest players just could not live with their movement, it was soon 7-2 as Ryan got his hat trick with some nice play with Tom, and then Ryan was the provider with some nice work from Mat on the right he pulled the ball back for Joseph to grab his second and Baddesley's 8th.
With 5 minutes to go Baddesley got there 9th and Mitch got his 2nd and made the coach eat his words as he rammed the ball home with his RIGHT FOOT? Some sloppy play in the last few minutes saw Hillcrest get there 3rd but take nothing from the boys the day belonged to Baddesley running out 9-3 winners.
