Baddesley Park played host to Botley Village in their first league game of a busy season.
Baddesley started brightly creating three or four chances in the first five minutes.
Botley started to find their feet and started to play some good football themselves - which could have punished Baddesley had their finishing been better.
Baddesley were rewarded on the 26 minute mark with a solo effort from Munday after a good ball from O'Sullivan.
Baddesley extended their lead with a superb goal from Cornwell wide out on the right.
Botley quickly pulled one back at the start of the second half with a well worked goal.
Baddesley extended their lead with a second goal from Munday.
The game turned into a scrappy affair with neither team creating much in the next twenty minutes.
Botley made Baddesley sweat in the last five minutes when they pulled one back.
Baddesley held out and ran out 3-2 winners in the end to give them a winning start to the league campaign.

Your manager is allowed to post his own report on the game, if he wishes. The Baddesley v Botley fixture always produces a great contest, and a brilliant respect for each other. Lets keep that going, eh?
