Paul Bettany has admitted he'd love to move back to the UK because he misses his home country "horribly".
The British actor lives Stateside with his wife Jennifer Connelly, their son, and the actress's son from a previous relationship, but says he would happily return home.
Speaking at UK premiere of his new film at London Film Festival The Secret Life Of Bees, Paul said: "I would love to live in London.
"My eldest son who I guess is biologically not mine has a father that lives in New York, and so we're bound pretty closely to the East coast of America for a little while.
"It's my home town and I miss it horribly."
Paul also revealed he was thrilled to work with 14-year-old Dakota Fanning on Bees, a 60s-set movie about a girl (Dakota) who flees her abusive father (Paul) to find answers about her dead mother.
"I can't play down enough how big a thing that was for me in choosing to do the movie - she's an amazing young actress," he said.
The movie, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, also stars Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson and Sophie Okonedo.
Paul said: "I think what's extraordinary is it's a film about women made by a woman in which there is not a lead male actor.
"There should be more of them and for me it was a really exciting thing to be a part of."
