MIC's Hugo: Romance is going strong

Made In Chelsea's Hugo Taylor has insisted he and girlfriend Natalie Joel don't let the cameras get in the way of their relationship.

The E4 reality show has been closely following the pair's romance, including Natalie's first meeting with her other half's dad, but Hugo revealed they manage to separate business and pleasure.

"We have a very secure relationship and we're very happy people. One's work and one's life and if you can separate the two it's pretty easy," he said at the Cartier Queen's Cup polo, where he was accompanied by model Natalie.

Hugo - who revealed he's a fan of rival ITV2 show The Only Way Is Essex - admitted he isn't sure how much longer Made In Chelsea will remain on screens.

"People seem to enjoy it - in terms of the shelf life, there are current fashions and tastes in television and things always change. Where the genre goes, who knows?" he added.

"I think people can buy into it, there are similar problems that other people go through hopefully, so I think they can relate to it."

As for critics of the show, Hugo said: "I just take it in my stride, if you do anything like that people are going to like it or not, as long as people are talking about it then that's the idea of it."
