THEY came, they sang and they danced - for the 40 wannabees who turned up to the X Factor-style auditions it was their chance to bag a dream job in the entertainment industry.
Aspiring performers arrived en masse at the Southampton Park Hotel armed with energy, charisma and talent in the hope of becoming a FunStar for Haven Holidays.
The auditions are part of a national search to recruit 350 entertainers for its 35 holiday parks for the 2008 season beginning at the end of March.
Entertainment producer Simon Daniels, said: "We were looking for dynamic people with bright, bubbly personalities.
"It's hard work but exhilarating and great fun."
