Balloon tribute to crash victim Ryan

| SOARING SUCCESS: Hundreds of balloons were released by friends and |
IT'S been two years since a tragic accident that saw a young boy lose his life on a Hampshire road.
But friends and family of Ryan Crouch turned up in Hythe to show the popular youngster was still very much alive in their hearts by releasing 300 balloons in his memory.
The former Noadswood Comprehensive School pupil was just 11 years old when he was struck by a van as he and a school friend tried to cross a busy New Forest road.
On Saturday more than 100 people turned up to the skate park in Netley View to release the balloons exactly two years to the day he was killed. Speaking at the event Ryan's older sister Fiona Byrne thanked the crowd of people, young and old, who had turned up.
Fiona, 29, said: "On behalf of my mother I would like to thank everybody for coming and say how nice it is you have all remembered Ryan as much as we have. As you all know he is in our hearts everyday and he will never be forgotten.
"Ryan was such a lovely person. This, here, was his favourite place. He was here everyday given half a chance and loved this place so it was the best place to do this."

I just wanted to say that was a lovely thing to do for Ryan, he looks so full of life and happiness in his pictures,it was a tragedy to be taken at such a young age, my heart goes out to all of his family and friends
