ONLOOKERS could be forgiven for thinking they had been transported back in time as two aeroplanes went head-to-head in Hampshire's skies.
Crowds watched on as a 1940s Spitfire and a modern MX2 plane raced over Calshot and round the Isle of Wight in a nod to the Schneider Trophy, the original air race celebrating its 85th anniversary this year.
The planes were piloted by Paul Bonhomme and Nigel Lamb, competitors in the Red Bull Air Race, which returns to London on August 2 and 3.

I wouldn't forgive them. How dumb would you have to be to think you'd gone back in time? Do these people get all confused when they see someone driving a vintage car? "Wow dude, we must've somehow gone back in time! Look! And all these other modernities and everything all came back, too!"
I doubt it. Pointless rhetoric, Echo. Keep up the, erm, good work
