Boosted by their successes last week, Borehamwood's second youth team were keen to show they could do it again.
The game started with Borehamwood attacking, and the scoring was opened within the first five minutes by Ryan Haylock.
Undaunted, the Hurricanes came back and levelled the score soon after, but the Saints continued to dominate.
Danny Southwell scored the Saints' second goal three minutes from the end of the first period, following a superb display of passing.
The Hurricanes opened the scoring in the second period, but, after some determined play, Bradley Reffold scored from a slapshot from well within the Saints half, to put the Saints one goal in front. The third period continued with the Saints dominating, and Borehamwood were awarded a goal after a goal-mouth scramble which saw the Hurricane's netminder score an own goal.
The period saw some good attacking manoeuvres by both teams and the Hurricane's efforts resulted in a good goal, from a goal post rebound, with two minutes of the period remaining.

The final match of the Saints' season was a disappointment to all connected with the Crusaders.
The teams had met the previous week in a close game, with no penalties and a good display of sportsmanship, but this meeting was completely different. The Saints dominated from the start and scored four goals in the first period, the first from Bradley Reffold, followed by Josh Caplan, then Ed Barnes and the fourth from Josh Caplan again.
Dunmow made some aggressive tackles, and they met with strong resistance by the Saints.
The referees penalised three Dunmow players and one Saints player in separate incidents.
The Dunmow team coach did not agree with this and, after the Saints scored their fifth goal, he threw in the towel, forfeiting the game in favour of the Saints. Skater Hockey is a physical game, but the Saints have always played fairly. They will always meet any physical challenge they are faced with, and this game was no different.
Depending on the outcome of other league games still to be played, the Saints will finish in fourth or fifth, an excellent result for a B team.
