I lived next door to Matthew Le Tissier
It was while I was teaching my first son Alex to walk, that Matthew Le Tissier moved in next door to us. We lived in Lancaster Close on the Bursledon Green estate and we would aim for the car-parking space at the end of the terrace.

Paula Owens wins ladies championships
THERE can be no more elegant sight in sport than ladies snooker and there can be no more elegant sight in ladies snooker than Paula Owens doing what she does best. And last Friday, at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club, Paula demonstrated pure skill and determination to win her first ever tournament.

The return of One-Take Suzie
Hampshire golden girl Suzie Opacic can return to a normal life today after 48 hours of frenzied media attention. After the news broke early on Thursday morning in the Southern Daily Echo, Suzie’s mobile was glowing hotter than usual.

Before the play started we had the series-nine presentation. As well as the money, special guest Derek Clark handed the Galaxy Fair Play Award to 14-year-old Glenn Shefford and the Galaxy Best Newcomer Award to 10-year-old Jordan Winbourne.
