MY purse fell out my pocket in a Tesco’s car park, which was found and handed in.

I managed to find the phone number of the finder and offered to send him £10 to buy a bottle of wine in appreciation of his honesty.

When I mentioned that not many people today would have handed it in he turned down my offer stating: “I was a soldier”. It makes you proud of the integrity of our Army.

Also credit to Tesco, which managed to find my address and the young lady from their staff who personally took the trouble to call and tell me they had it.
