What about the motorways?
Recent traffic chaos in Southampton caused by the liner sailings may be in the headlines at the moment but who is responsible for the flow of traffic off and on the M27 motorways on a daily basis?
It’s chaos in the mornings and evenings and tailbacks are common on the motorway sliproads. I travel eastbound between my home to Havant each day. Recently it took 25 minutes to get to the motorway at junction 8 and then, these days, the motorway is backed up because of the tailback on junction 9 for Whiteley.
