Council leader’s silence

Daily Echo: Cllr Simon Letts Cllr Simon Letts

IN all the commotion regarding the possible provision of an interim post office at Weston, council leader Councillor Simon Letts has been strangely silent!

Will he tell the people of Weston, is he willing to give them am interim post office, or not?

His predecessor in office Richard Williams promised Weston a shop and a post office during the redevelopment. We have our shop, Where is our post office?

TOM DOAK, Weston, Southampton.

I have not been to the area, but would assume that the facility for a Post Office is available, but the City Council do not run them.

I wonder whether Tom Doak has contacted Councillor Letts direct with this question, or whether he is attempting to communicate with him by letters to The Echo.
