Concerned about the future of our docks
IT IS sad to read local people saying that they would prefer the expansion of docks and trade to go to London and Harwich rather than Southampton.
London and Harwich are nearer to Rotterdam and Antwerp, but Southampton serves Asia and the Far East, and Southampton is nearer to them.
Is anybody concerned about the future of the national and regional economy and the prosperity of Southampton docks?
