MORE drivel about UKIP “selling off chunks of the NHS”, this time from Angela C. Broad (Letters, March 8), who seems to also believe that the EU can be reformed “from within”.
What a joke. The Tories have been trotting out that mendacious line for years, and now Frau Merkel has told Cameron he can forget about his mythical renegotiation.
According to Ms Broad, as a Ukipper, I must be a “rich home counties middle Englander”, when I am a disillusioned ex-Labour voter who wants democratic self-government restored to this country. Oh, and I work for the NHS. Rich?!
