‘Ugly monstrosities’ should be called wind factories
I WONDER why “wind farms” are so called?
The word “farm” evokes an image of pleasant countryside with grazing cattle and fields of golden corn.
These inefficient, ugly and very expensive monstrosities are the very opposite of that.
Indeed they are a form of pollution... visual pollution.
So what shall we call them instead of wind farms?
I think “wind factories” would be a far more suitable title.
